What a nightmare
What a nightmare We wanted to go to a restaurant and looked it up online And were offered a chance to make a reservation online via Reserv Go so we fill out the request and of course it wants phone number and a credit card so I have to confirm with the bank they are going to deduct a cent and once the confirmation is confirmed and we even get a call we assume from the restaurant saying if the time doesn t work maybe half an hour later since they are busy Then we get an email saying the restaurant doesn t work with Reserv Go We call the restaurant- no reservation We call Reserv Go and they say don t worry we won t use your credit card info And then we start to think it s a scam and check Trustpilot where we see how others discover they have accidentally signed up for an expensive monthly subscription to Reserv Go And calling them back they admit that yes we have subscribed if we don t cancel right away We do but our trust is gone and this form of surveillance capitalism is criminal in my opinion How can the government that is supposed to protect people allow people to be tricked into expensive subscriptions So many online frauds especially in France- but this is just a legal one

Beware - ask you to agree to paying 1p and then take nearly 60 a few days later
Whilst on holiday in France I tried to book a taxi to take my husband to the doctor as he was in need of urgent medical care I tried to reserve the taxi online and it asked me to pay 01 to confirm the card The taxi never arrived and I ended up having to use another firm who were wonderful Imagine my surprise on checking my credit card statement to discover that a few days later they took a payment of 69 99 euros 59 10 When I saw the statement I spoke to my card provider and they told me it appeared to be for a subscription that I had signed up to They also said it appeared to be a recurrent payment They have now put a block on the account to stop this happening again and advised that I now check my statements every day online just in case they try it again by using a different company name Absolutely devastated that something I did when trying to deal with an emergency resulted in my being charged fraudulently

Sharp practice
Exactly the same experience as other reviewers I reserved a restaurant with Reserve-Go com gave my card details which I assumed was so that the restaurant knew I was bona fide and was charged 1 cent Imagine my surprise when I discovered from my bank account that I had been charged for two months subscription at 49 99 each when I had never agreed to take out a subscription Therefore 100 to make a reservation Their site says satisfaction or reimbursement I have convinced them to reimburse one month but so far as I know not the other I am elderly live on a small pension and simply cannot afford to throw away 50 This is sharp practice bordering on fraud

shocked by unethical practices
Very shocked by unethical practice of signing up customers who think they are only booking a restaurant I have been paying 49 euros since June 24 when i inadvertently signed up to this I do not speak much French I saw the initial payment of 0 01 euro but did not spot the subscription cost a few days later because of so many transactions since i was on holiday The feel they are deliberately scamming people

I asked for a single taxi voyage that was not made I did not imanige that some weeks later i would pay 49 eur I do not understand french very well Even the taxi voyage was not done there was no avaiable I made a phone call today because the answer they writed to me was not the real situation By telephone explained to me that the situation was a supposed contract that they ensured that is canceled So i think the situation is resolved

Glad to have refund Thanks
Since my last review and perhaps as a result of it I am glad to say that Reserve-Go have finally refunded their second charge for which I am grateful They have been courteous throughout but it shouldn t have taken this long Perhaps there is a problem with their French site but it should be made much clearer to potential clients just what they are signing up to in order to avoid poor experiences such as those described previously
