Disgusting zero care Called yesterday at 12 20 called me back told me couple off hours I messaged back at 14 45 to be told still waiting for response at 17 15 quoted me 210 and someone would be with me between 7 and 8 - called me again at 8pm to advise between 10-11pm no one came or called - called back this morning to be told price is now 300 - 2 5 hours later still nothing

DO NOT CALL Rip off merchants with non existent customer service Due to the locksmith not having the correct tools or knowledge on how to gain access to my property the most efficient way I was charged double what I should ve been charged and unecessary damage was caused to my front door handles resulting in me having to also pay for new door handles I have now waited 2 weeks for a call back from a manager to discuss the situation and to also prevent a bad review being put on their page as I don t like to write bad reviews but with Rightway s motto being ignore until the customer goes away then what other choice does a customer have Would most definitely not recommend

AVOID Shocking Company

AVOID Shocking company Waited almost 2hrs for a guy to turn up website say3 free to call out Also says 49 to gain entry key would not turn in the door Guy wiggles the key and the door opens he says the gearbox is gone on the lock and it will be 500 600 to fix I said the door only cost 700 and he said no it would be 2000 to replace the door I had the receipts in my hand He then says insurance will cover the cost he removes all the locking stuff off the door and comes back with a temp lock to secure the door overnight and will return next day with the replacement He also took our bits away so we could not goole the cost of a new gearbox clever move in the meantime we contacted insurance and they would not cover it as we had not lost the key I then call a reputable company and if I take the parts to them they will fit a new gearbox fir 70 I call the guy and tell him we need our parts back then he says he will bring it back but it will be another 49 plus 95 for opening the door and 49 for the night before I ask him to please reduce the cost but he would not I call the company direct and they ask him but he won t we had to pay 193 and he left the lock and handles all over the table and left us stranded I took the bit to my shop and 70 was the cost I then refitted the lock parts myself in 10mins and the door works great AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAUGE

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- My mum called them to replace a lock that was sticking they were prompt to respond and the locksmith who attended fitted a new lock that also stuck with the key and appeared to be out of alignment We tried to contact him multiple times to come and correct the lock to no avail we ve given up trying to get him back and have lost trust and gone with another locksmith instead Waste of money and feel like he took advantage of my mum s honest nature

One star is too much This company is a scam preying on people in a panic who make the grave error of clicking on the first thing that comes up on google Expect abuse and rip off prices not just for the service The lock they provided was charged at 36 times its retail price

The only positive was they turned up within half hour

I called Rightway Locksmiths as I was locked out of a clients house when the door shut behind me when I was emptying the bin The keys to the house were locked inside The locksmith turned up within half hour but walked straight up to the door with his tool box and said I will need to change the lock Didn t even bother trying just straight away told me the lock needed changing and it would cost 215 emergency call out On the phone we were told that they would just be able to open the door we told him this and he refused and said the only thing he can do is change the locks I said I can t do that as this is a clients house and he just kept saying ring them I am sure they will be fine with it I kept refusing and going back and forth for about 5 minutes I said can you not just attempt to open it first He said I doubt it will open but he got out a plastic card swiped it down the door frame and like magic the door opened The website says 49 call out charge on the phone we were told 59 but was charged 70 Would never use again and wish I had read the reviews before but as I was panicking I just called the first locksmith I saw on google - as they were sponsored Don t make the same mistake all they care about is charging you the most they can

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE Rude and arrogant emergency locksmith from Rightway-locksmith attended my property to fix a broken gearbox mechanism which I was quoted 59 for during my initial call The person they sent explained it would cost 600 to fix the door Upon hearing the quote I explained I would like to have a second opinion before committing to any work being carried out The locksmith didn t seem happy with this and stormed out with his tools and then had the cheek to charge me 35 cancellation fee This company is fraudulent There webpage looks legitimate however after further research I m unable to find them on Companies House In addition to this upon searching for them on Google each page I opened linked to them had a different telephone number

Unlike all the other reviewers I had a good experience with the service My UPVC patio door lock was stuck so it wasn t necessarily an emergency but I needed it fixed straight away for access to the back of the house I was given an estimate of 45-60mins for locksmith to arrive and quoted 59 VAT call-out I already guessed that it wasn t going to be a straightforward fix so expected the final cost to run into the hundreds Locksmith Andrei Bogdan rang after 20mins to verify address and was with me 20 mins later He assessed the problem explained that it was a more complicated repair and that labour would be 99 He explained all of this before starting the repair because it meant forcing the door lock to open it up to fix He then checked the problem sheared off lever and showed explained what had happened He kept me informed at every step I needed a new UPVC mechanism he gave me 2 price options - yale or generic The lock cylinder also had to be replaced The job took just over 1 hour and was done efficiently and professionally I was able to pay by card and an itemised invoice was delivered to my email in seconds Locksmith left his card with instructions to call if any problems with the lock over the course of the 1 year guarantee It wasn t cheap but I think it was a fair price 353 for call-out labour parts He also oiled the door hinges and locks and showed me how to adjust the door levels if they dropped at all Could I also add that I was a lone female in the house and did not at any point feel uncomfortable having this tradesman in my home He was polite professional and communicated well with me as the customer I felt very much at ease I would recommend Andrei to my friends and colleagues
