I saw a sponsered ad on Instagram for a business that claimed it was closing due to big chain competition and how integrity wasn t valued in the digital sphere A few days later when I recieved the shipping notification and saw the parcel was coming all the way from China I wonder if I got scammed I check for the IG profile for the company and find it had vanished completely Website still exists Fast forward two weeks later abismal quality leather boots show up in a packet no shoebox quality is beyond poor Not real leather as described Nasty synthetic interior Stitching looking threadbare etc I go to the website to find the refund policy and it turns out that they don t refund sale items and it just so happens that everything on the website is 50 off Lesson learned Fortunately my nearest donation hub for the homeless is in critial need of shoes so they will be used by someone who needs them while they last
