What happened to German work ethic
I am extremely dissatisfied with the service quality in Germany and ROLAND Rechtsschutz-Versicherungs-AG by far is the worst See the details belowRegarding the service quality Upon claiming that I have not received the letter which was supposed to be delivered by Deutsche Post I was called by a hidden number which is NOT acceptable in a professional relationship Your affiliated agent lawyer states that i I have to prove that I did not receive the letter and ii Deutsche Post has no burden of proof for the letter that they labelled as delivered I did ask about the relevant law in German Civil Code that puts the burden of proof on the receiver but she did not provide ANY legal reference I ask her to call me in 10 minutes as I will find the relevant German Civil Code but she did not accept and wanted to finish the call without providing any LEGAL reference Despite that I reminded her that She has to give legal advice PROPERLY and in a LEGAL manner she stated She does not have to do anything As a foreign qualified professional who worked in legal matters in the home country I am extremely disappointed by the level of INCOMPETENCE and REPEATEDLY LOW SERVICE QUALITYRegarding the legal consultation - I know that German Civil Code puts the burden of the proof on the deliverer as per German Civil Code 182 Certificate of delivery - I know that Primae Facie evidence is not accepted as proof of delivery as per the decision made by FG Hessen Gerichtsbescheid vom 29 02 2012 3 K 911 11Regarding my request- I request Roland to refund all the premiums paid for not providing the service it promised with the Legal Protection Insurance Agreement or I will sue Roland and Getsafe for failure of act and service - I will sue the person who provided me with her misleading legal advice and will create a complaint at the Bar Association Therefore please state the name of the person with whom my personal informations name-surname-mobile number has been shared This person has called me from a hidden number on 10-05-2024 at 11 08

Poor Response Times and Lack of English Language Support
In my initial interactions with ROLAND in January 2023 I found their service to be satisfactory However over the last few months I have encountered several issues that have been quite disappointing Firstly the response time has been notably poor It often took several days for them to respond to a claim with no clear information or guidance on when I might expect further contact Secondly I have found it difficult to reach English-speaking agents by phone even though my cover was explicitly taken out as an English language service I was informed that English-speaking agents are only available on certain days but I was not made aware of this limitation when I initially purchased my policy The most recent and pressing concern is regarding a claim I filed on September 9th which took nearly a week to receive a response On September 17th the claim was rejected with the statement that there was no breach apparent so there is no insured event which I believe to be incorrect I responded within hours clearly outlining the breaches I allege and received an automated message stating I would be contacted within three working days However I did not receive a response within that time frame After sending a follow-up on the fourth working day September 23rd I received the same automated response but again no actual response has been forthcoming I also attempted to get an update via the app but I was unable to proceed when trying to select my claim making it impossible to get the assistance I needed I feel that a lack of a diligent response within 10 working days is unreasonable especially given the urgency of my claim Unfortunately I have exhausted all available avenues for communication and am left without any further options to resolve this matter Update Today 25th September I was sent another rejection letter that failed to address the claim I have filed It did not give any clarity on why the claim had been rejected but referred to the previous rejection - which was incorrect and claimed that there was no insured event Further Update - 26th September 2024Since then I tried to speak with them on the phone I was put through to an agent and upon asking if he could speak English he shouted abuse at me down the phone and hung up I have been unable to trace who the agent was when I called back Within an hour of that call I had an email informing me that my cover with Roland Rechtsschutz is being cancelled by them I m shocked and confused - Furthermore I still have had no clarification as to why my claim is being rejected

Hard to believe in Germany but this seems like a scam site Although the lawyers look legit probably stolen from LinkedIn or something they don t provide the services agreed Stay away as there s no way this law firm will help you out at all

No assitance provided after confirmation of coverage
Case number S-23-03057631I was redirected to ROLAND for being a customer of GetSafe During the consultation call I was told my case was covered and I should get assigned a local lawyer to get assistance in my case It s been more than 3 weeks since I was told this I ve been redirected two to different law firms with no response from them I asked support ROLAND again and their response was they already provided me with the contact of a law firm This is not the service I would expect to receive

Worst service
Worst service I called to ask for legal advice The woman who responded to my call was already angry before I started speaking I started to talk and she said I can not hear you to which I spoke slowly and started telling my problem with auslanderbehorde As soon as I said the word auslanderbehored she said I do not deal with auslanderbehorde To which I asked then who can I ask for advice regarding that To which she said I will forward your message and someone from the department will call you and just cancelled my call Nothing else The tone of her voice was very condescending and as if she could not care less about my problem

Roland - A Major Disappointment
A major disappointment I called them on Monday requesting assitance on an issue involving my apartment The person who answered the call clearly not a specialist gave me some superficial advice and tried to dismiss me I then insisted that this is not what I was paying for and he reluctantly put me through to someone else A sweet-talking lady answered and said that a specialist would briefly get in touch Five days later nobody has On Tuesday I decided to ask for assitance via e-mail and only got an automatic answer On Wednesday I wrote them a second email and their robot was the only one who answered prompty Absolute silence from Roland Needless to say I am now quoting isurance with other companies

After police took my laptop cellphone and tablet Roland left my request unattended 20 days before replying Their cynicism made me so angry showed no respect Happy to help you as soon as possible They were just waiting for me to get cooked so they don t have to fulfil my contract with them Don t trust their words I can tell they are empty

repeatedly bad customer service STAY CLEAR
repeatedly bad customer service - zero context given in response to questions They never get back within their time frame and they have never picked up the phone when I called - I have called 5 times once waiting for over an hour and a half they use arbitrary timing of activating events to deny people claims it s now been three claims and they use the same excuse - this is not an English speaking service even though its sold as one by GetSafe They just cheat their English customers complain to the ombudswoman Edit to respond so in order to get your legal team to do their job and service customer needs you need to go through a social media team who cannot actually do anything in regards to a claim What kind of nonsense is this Rather than deal with the problem you re saying in peak times Over a year there are no goddmn peak times - there is a pattern of complete disregard zero accountability and shitty customer service If you won t physically TALK to your customers and instead just pass the buck you don t deserve to get paid FYI I have now actually complained to the ombudswoman For my active claim
