Be careful when buying Rujo boots during a sale
Be careful when buying Rujo boots during a sale I bought 2 pair of boots one ostrich and one caiman I ordered10 Ds because I had purchased a pair of boots earlier in the year that were 9 5s and they were too tight but because the soles were scuffed I couldn t return them Needless to say I only tried the new ones on and only only on carpet - no scuffs Well I received both pairs and not only were they too big but they weren t the same amount of too big All snip toes as was the pair I bought earlier this year Well guess what when I contacted them they couldn t replace them for the next size down out of stock and they wouldn t exchange them for similarly price boot that they did have in stock So basically if I accept store credit then I just spent 750 for only one pair of boots in stead of the two pair I purchased With discretionary money hard to come by these days this sort of thing leaves a real bad taste in your mouth for sure UPDATE so I finally agreed to return one of my boots for a store credit Shipped back my boots saw that they had been received them and asked when I could expect to receive store credit They re running a new sale and there are actually some boots on sale that are in the size I need well nope 7-10 days to process my return REALLY These guys are so frustrating

Questionable practices
My wife ordered a pair of python boots for me for Christmas When I opened them one boot had a large seperation between the scales on the toe and several scales were loose I returned them and ordered a replacement pair in caiman When these finally arrived one of the seams on the side of heel area of the boot was pulled and separated It looked like someone had tried unsuccessfully to glue it back The other boot had scruffs on the sole The tissue paper in the box was all crinkled up It was very obvious this pair of boots had been worn returned and shipped out again as replacements for the first defective pair Overall the boots were beautiful but sub-par workmanship and nonexistent quality control are major problems As is the shady practice of reselling returned boots with no notification that they have been returned Rujo initially gave me store credit After calling them and explaining that with the experience I had with them I had no desire for store credit They did credit my card back with the correct amount Also I recieved a request to write a review which was worded almost identically to this one Two weeks after submitting the review Rujo has not posted it on their website Just another ding in their trustworthiness I will gladly pay the slightly higher price for trustworthy Tecovas

Bait Switch
After waiting 3 months on a wait list I was notified the boots I wanted for my wife were available Immediately I ordered the pair The Anna chocolate 8 5 475 for my wife on 3 1 25 after waiting 3 months on a wait list for the correct size The boots arrived about a week later The boot box label was for the correct boot that I ordered but when I opened the box there was a different boot of the same size called the Abby in a light blue I have been going back and forth in emails only to be told they don t have the correct boot and there is no ETA This was a present and so my wife decided she would keep them I asked 3 times for a refund of the difference which is 200 00 and they will NOT respond to my emails or my phone calls Poor business practices make for a bad business future Hopefully they make good on this and I will update the response They did ask for a review after my purchase which I was not satisfactory and they chose not to publish it on their site

Bad Customer Service and Return Policy
Rujos has very poor and unresponsive customer service overall They do not allow returns if boots were bought during a sale and they run constant sales so that this applies to nearly all of their customers Even so I was fine with a simple size exchange but Rujos has been completely unresponsive for months despite reaching out on many occasions
