SCAM PLEASE DO NOT USE SAFARINOW
Safarinow is scam and fraudulent travel agent in South Africa They don t only lie to travelers they lie to establishments too The people behind this travel agent are heartless I have been waiting for my refund from them with no success I canceled my booking due to Covid19 and within 25 days before my arrival Safarinow never gave me my refund up to this day They lied saying that they deposited the funds to my bank account which they did not Up to this day I am waiting for my money I am taking a legal action against them Not only to get my refund put to expose them and to fight the principle They give you headaches instead of giving you your money I advise everyone to stay away from using Safarinow They are FRAUDULENT

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH SAFARI Whatever you do The establishment paid them back my refund and they are now not paying it back to me They have told me twice that they have paid it back and it s waiting to clear and that was over a month ago They are robbing people of their money and I m now having to get my lawyers involved DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM

Beware of this company - their refund policy is BS
Despite Safarinow saying they will refund me within 5 days I am struggling to get my money returned after a cancellation They tell me that they need to get the money back from the venue first before they can refund me - this is not what they say on the Proof of Booking email where it clearly says Safarinow will refund you with 5 days of a cancellation Beware of this company

Do Not Book by Safarinow
Although I have booked several times in the past through Safarinow without any problems now I have towarn against bookings I was forced to cancel a booking due to COVID-19 Although the cancellation was on time and was confirmed by Safarinow I am waiting for the repayment for weeks I have sent reminders several times without receiving any further reaction from Safarinow The landlady of the B B which I booked referred to me to Safarinow for the refund unfortunately without success At the same time I hear from friends in South Africa that Safarinow has been keeping the landlords waiting for their money too there seems to be also various newspaper reports about Safarinow and this cases

SafariNow is Either Terribly Run or an Absolute Scam AVOID
I booked a B B through SafariNow sent my proof of payment several times in various formats and they continue to claim they never received it I ended up having to call the B B directly while I was en route to it and pay them again to stay there for the night Luckily they could still accommodate me I m not sure if SafariNow is terribly run or an absolute scam but AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Forced to postpone now booking is MIA
Made a booking earlier this year but had to cancel due to COVID lock-down Somewhere between the booking and then wanting to cancel the establishment changed the T s C s wish i d made a screen shot when i made the booking They wouldn t refund me even though I gave 2 months notice so had to postpone to later this year did receive confirmation Fast forward I wanted to double check my booking and it is nowhere to be found where i was able to access it via my profile before now it shows i have no bookings I ve sent numerous emails to Safari com but get no response

INHABITABLE ACCOMODATION BOOK ON SAFARINOWI write in response to the condition
I write in response to the condition and inhabitable state of The Fairlands Hideout reported via telecom to SafariNow on arrival to check in late this afternoon After a long journey this extremely stressful experience was not appreciated Having to go back to The Fairlands Hideout to get photographic evidence of our observations as per your insistence to consider a refund This after the owner was fully aware that we were not going to stay there and honestly could have put us in danger I believe this real and extremely disturbing report from an unhappy customer of yours to be unprofessionally handled and no alternative accommodation could be found so can t assist in an alternative solution a poor show of customer service Despite the lack of available accommodation we have managed to find suitable accommodation to spend the next 2 nights in Johannesburg I am deeply disappointed in the lack of empathy from Safari Now and willingness to assist when our expectations from the images on your website of The Fairlands Hideout were a far cry from reality as reported to you on arrival We demand a refund for this accommodation paid to Safari Now We did not check in or sign any documents at The Fairlands Hideout and as such have not made use of any of their facilities and absolutely refuse to be forced to stay in an establishment like this on a threat of a cancellation policy I insist that you send a representative to this establishment as soon as possible to assess the feasibility of such to continue it s inclusion in your portfolio You will be sure to receive similar complaints which can only do damage to your brand in the process Please see below images from your website as our expectation and images that we were then asked to go back and take to verify our complaint and inability to stay at The Fairlands Hideout SAFARI NOW IMAGESThe images below portray a well kept and clean establishment that we were looking forward to inhabiting for our 2 day stay in Johannesburg THE FAIRLAND HIDEOUT IMAGES 17 DEC 2021On arrival at The Fairland Hideout the owner manager was friendly and welcomed us in To be honest my first impression was that we were being led through the back entrance and possibly the staff quarters There was no sanitizer in site and with the effect that Covid had on the service industry one would think that covid protocols would be at the forefront and strictly adhered to No one was sanitised and no temperatures were taken or recorded The establishment had not been cleaned with dust remnants seen on surfaces and did not smell clean As a self-catering establishment there is a serious concern for the lack of hygiene and cleanliness I am sure that they would be closed down if inspected by the Department of Tourism or the Health and Safety board If SATSA were to see this they would not get a single star for what they are offering Place literally falling apart and been tied together Half painted walls and peeling paint work elsewhere Freezer seals perished and surfaces filthy Pots available for use in an unnaceptable condition Food from previous cooking splashes on tiles Cupboards full of dust and food dripped from the counter Fridge doors taped for whatever reason Freezer with old food and not clean Braai are not in a usable clean state Table filthy with remains of food still present and chairs broken Beds concaved from excessive use and linen delapidated and unwelcoming Building rubble and equipment left in place Paint building material stains on pavers Black mould in the shower Stove filthy with food remnants I am sure the images now paint the picture that we experienced I do not know if the establishment is under a refurb at the moment the building material would suggest this The place is definitely not reflecting what the website images portry and believe they should rather close their doors until such time that they are ready to accept guests once more It is grossly unfair to have to put customers through this trauma and expect them to stay in an establishment that is honestly a health risk Please advise soonest as to the refund payable so that this matter does not have to be taken any further Kind regards A Pieterse 082 880 3948

AVOID AVOID AVOIDMade a booking via SafariNow and paid a 50 deposit via bank transfer They refuse to accept that the money was transferred despite sending proof from my bank that the money had been transferred Dalene Adams who replies to my emails says that she has asked the Finance Dept to look into it That is the only reply she ever gives - is she a real person This has been ongoing for months now and I doubt if I shall ever see the money again AVOID AVOID AVOID
