Couldn t have done more for us
November 2019 Having been to Ochi Jamaica last year we decided Barbados would be a good 2nd Sandals visit We went as a party of 6 3 couples The transfer from the airport to the resort was only 15-20 mins We were greeted with cold towels smelling of lemongrass a very strong rum drink and two Sandals Select T-Shirts since we were members We used the iPad to sign in the card machines were down so we never got to put a credit card on file we just paid for all of our trips at the end easily enough We were taken to our rooms and the holiday began The resort is huge you can t tell where Sandals Barbados ends and Royal begins It is so unbelievably stunning We stayed in the Bajan section in a Crystal Lagoon Luxury Honeymoon Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub LX The room had a double sink hair dryer huge walk in shower mini fridge coffee machine iron and board two wall mirrors one full length mirror and one light up mirror with magnify safe a UK plug socket in the wall air con and a fan There was nothing else we could think of that we would have required in the room It was cleaned daily and we had a turn down service nearly every evening The fridge was stocked with the wine and beer of request and was topped up daily There is no free rose wine which is a shame but you can pay for it if you wanted I had emailed Sandals beforehand after reading reviews on how other guests had struggled to book tables for dinner I wanted to ensure we had bookings for tables of 6 Barbara the director of guest services replied and booked us into every restaurant we required for a table of 6 at great times There was only one occasion where the table booking was not there but we sought a manager who apologised and got the table ready for us within half an hour I cannot tell you how incredible the food is here especially compared to Ochi which we thought was amazing at the time I would highly recommend going to Neptunes for lunch the views are insane and the food is fab Try the fried chicken and the burger Chi is so beautifully designed inside and the pad thai is to die for I would also recommend Butches although I would say to get an earlier booking as the wait time for service is a bit longer here If you are looking for late night food the Merry Monkey and Lovers Lane does some great plates to take back to your room We went on a snorkelling and catamaran trip highly recommend this Was 107pp we got taken to Bridgetown and boarded the boat Sailed for 10 mins then jumped in and swam with turtles Then we sailed for around an hour and snorkelled by some ship wrecks We had unlimited drinks and a really lovely lunch We stopped on the beach outside Sandy Lane and we could swim to shore for a look around then come back The men played golf which they said was great bring your own clubs if you can though We also went on a shopping trip which was only 12pp and we got to see Bridgetown properly even having a nice drink on the water The pools here are beautiful we never had an issue getting 6 sunbeds together I would recommend saving them as everyone else seems to but if someone doesn t return within 2 hours then the sunbeds yours Staff are always around taking orders for drinks The beach is stunning It is public but it s no issue at all One man tried to sell us something we said no thank you and that was the end of that There was no seaweed when we were there Sandals have also made two stone wave barriers in the sea which we found so helpful when swimming out Loved all of the bars you got a drink pretty quickly Some bars didn t have menus though so we struggled to pick something different and played it safe on a few occasions Nothing really to complain about but just would have been nice to have island favourites You can book lockers and showers to use when you leave although the ladies lockers did not lock so all items went into the mens We were picked up in a air con mini bus and back to the airport we went The only real issue we had was that we were not there for longer

Great 3 week holiday
People always ask us which is the best Sandals We answer every one we have visited has something special about them They are all the best We recently went to Sandals on a 3-centre holiday in September 2023 Returning to our favourite Jamaica where everybody is so friendly First to Sandals South Coast then Sandals Dunn s River and followed by Sandals Ochi enjoying one of our best holidays ever Sandals South Coast 7-14 Sept 2023 We were warmly welcomed by the team Then driven to our room a wonderful swim-up Rondoval room on a lazy river To be looked after by 2 lovely Butlers Alicia and Tiffany Waking up and going to breakfast reminded us of just how beautiful South Coast is with the beautiful grounds and lovely beach our second time here The Rondoval was great large self-contained and modern with mood lighting Butler Alicia surprised us on our 21ST Wedding anniversary by decorating our room and serving us a private lunch on the day Butler Tiffany would always anticipate our needs and bring us drinks and snacks They both worked great as a team The caf and patisserie there were a special delight All the restaurants served delicious food Sandals Dunn s River 14-21 Sept 2023We arrived here and were greeted with cold towels as all the sites do and a welcoming song The just-opened Dunn s River Has a new and modern feel a great location and a lovely beach The caf with barrister-made coffees and a selection of cakes and the rum bar serving 30 different rums are excellent We also enjoyed the fantastic Spa especially the pool treatments and all the restaurants We had a Tufa swim-up a large well-equipped modern room located within easy reach of the pools and the beach Our Butlers were Romeo and Vivien both fun and attentive They were brilliant and friendly anticipating our needs and always finding us and bringing drinks and treats with them Dunn s River is an amazing property offering everything the others do and more This one is going to be a great success Sandals Ochi Beach 21-28 Sept 2023We have fond memories of Ochi our forth time here We did a lot of our 100 scuba dives at Ochi with the fantastic dive crews and beautiful dive areas Ochi was our first experience with Butlers as it was more affordable for us at the time than other locations We love the atmosphere here the most When we arrived we were welcomed by both our Butlers Moria and Natalie They drove us to our room a Romeo and Juliet Suite Self-contained walled suite with 2 separate buildings dining room bedroom and a bathroom with a pool and jacuzzi in between and very private Moria and Natalie both helped us settle in Again these 2 Butlers were lovely and fun They could not do enough for us especially driving us around the large site Ochi has the most restaurants on-site out of all on the island As we always stay for a minimum of 2 weeks we had plenty to choose from The special thing for us about Ochi is not just the people the food and the restaurants It s CHOCOLATE night Out of all the properties we have visited this is the only place that seems to do it the best Great entertainment and table after table of lovely chocolates All our Butlers over the years have been great At first as many find we didn t know what to do with Butlers Over time we made friends with many The amazing things they did for us like running us about especially at Ochi being so large and doing surprise special breakfasts lunches and dinners on our anniversaries Decorating our room with lights flowers everywhere and drawing baths with rose petals Making sure we had in the rooms our favourite drinks tea kettles Brits of course snacks and plenty of chilled fizz Booking and escorting us to restaurants setting the table and getting our drinks and much more Sandals to us meant luxury in the Caribbean and truly all-inclusive We have stayed in other places such as Mexico Cuba and the Dominican Although all were good they never compared to Sandals for value service and quality Sandals through their charity the Foundation does a lot for all islands We also appreciate the way they treat all employees with support and respect We have witnessed this through all levels in Sandals If Sandals had not existed we do not know what the last 21 years would have brought us They did well to survive through the pandemic We wish Sandals every success for the future Terry Jackie

We love Sandals Jamaica
We love Sandals Jamaica We have 69 nights and only need 1 more night to receive a free week stay We were at Ochi 7 28 for 9 days and the servers at the swim up bar remembered us All the Sandals people are so friendly and professional On this trip we went to the returning guest dinner at Ochi Our issue is that Sandals turned the dinner into a constant person to person sale of photos and the fund raising items The photo person offered us a photo in a frame for 35 and we decline Ten minutes later she returned to offer us the picture only for 10 the fundraiser person then went from person to person selling various items This made us uncomfortable They should have a table at the rear of the room with fundraising items for people to go to if they want to buy an item Too pushy and 2 other couples at our table felt the same way Make the event a tribute to returning guests Also they informed us of all the special deals with a 20 11 or 12 savings on bookings and free insurance I had already purchased a trip to Royal Caribbean for April 2022 When I asked if I could get those deals they said that I had to book the travel on site The travel insurance costs 228 so that would be a huge savings plus the 10 When I asked about the deal the next day at the loyalty office the Sandals rep was nasty about it I still don t understand

AVOID Sandals buy a pair of flip flops save 1000 s
If their resorts are even 99 better than their current appallingly cringe worthy annoying UK LBC radio advert then you couldn t pay me to go Who the heck was the ad agency that came up with this garbage I know Sandals need advertising because repeat customers are few far between but come on - this ad is plain awful Also they claim in this ad that their prices are surprisingly low Pull the other one AVOID going on holiday with Sandals - just read the Multiple 1 Star reviews

Sandals Antigua Very disappointed
Sandals Antigua Overpriced and underwhelming We booked a room which unbeknown to us is in the oldest part of the resort During our stay we had to negotiate our way through scaffolding sit and listen to tiling work and associated dust We experienced many areas of wet paint and generally the overall impression was that of a tired area of the resort and definitely not 5 star luxury Better quality available at lower prices Just a rip off

Love Sandals BUT we are due to fly next Feb but desperately need to TALK to someone they are advertising like mad but all lines are closed We pay megabucks for these holidays but customer services is non existent other tour operators can offer a sort of servive so why can t they seriously not impressed

Horrible experience at Sandals Bahamas Do not waste your money Property is rundown staff is surly food is mediocre at best They almost sent our luggage back to the airport instead of to our room they messed up the date of a romantic beach dinner my husband planned and paid extra for and then tried to blame us Management is useless at making things right We wrote a detailed email to Customer Support 2 weeks ago and have not heard a word From top to bottom the staff at this resort doesn t give a hoot about customer satisfaction We wasted 8000 and will never go to another sandals again

Food poisoning- we became sick the
Food poisoning- we became sick the second day of vacation and bed ridden for the remaining four days The resort would not acknowledge and requested we submit a stool sample that we would not receive the results Upon check out we were greeted by the manager who said all the correct corporate responses as reading from a script while we were handed the bill for the medicine we had to buy from the gift shop We have contacted them several times with no response on a refund for the days we were sick The only response we receive is on a public platform that everyone can see THINK twice before you plan your visit to a Sandals resort
