Just received my camera and it is an amazing tool for the price I have already used it and works great with the Ridgid locator Love the touch screen

Impressive

Was a little hesitant buying this camera For the price I expected lower quality that was made for light use only - Especially for its features e g self leveling sonde capabilities distance measuring etc Usually cameras with such features can cost double or more I ended up on the manufacturers web site while researching it and eventually made the decision to give it a try And after looking at many other brands Out of the box I have to say I was impressed Very sturdy case metal components and a look and feel of quality Four days after receiving it I had my first use with it on a sewer line the homeowner reported was backing up every few months I hadnt even read the directions yet before putting it to use but found it fairly intuitive and figured it out on the fly I was very happy with the picture quality Very easy to make out what I was looking at Ive had other cameras that at times I just couldn t tell what I was seeing Changing the camera s brightness was really helpful The self leveling was awesome No lag time as I was expecting And Reeling the camera line in and out was effortless I haven t used the recording option and I doubt I ever will so cant talk about its functionality I dont think I have a need for the keyboard either but I can seeing it being very useful for commercial plumbing guys Also havent used its locator capabilities yet but Im sure I wont have any issues with that About the only thing I would like to see changed is the distance measuring readout with the option to be set to foot inches - for us North Americans who will never figure out the metric system Also I figured out by accident that you can delay the measurement counter by keeping the camera off and run your line to a point you want to before you want the counter to start measuring Very helpful when you dont want the cleanout drop distance to be counted Sorry I got a little long winded so to sum it up so far with it only being recently purchased Im quite happy with this unit Time will only tell of its durability but nothing I ve seen so far would make me believe that will be a problem
