The software does what it s supposed to do Unfortunately after your license expires the old version that you still have gets artificially limited as if you never had a license This is ridiculous for a piece of software that has no running costs for them as it runs on your own computer

Not useful without a license
Used to love this tool but now it s completely useless to me without a license and I only used it for very basic stuff in the past All I want to do is be able to scan a website and pull the meta titles descriptions H1 H2 tags Image alts etc but if you use WordPress you end up having to sift thrugh all of the wp-content URLs I used to be able to bypass that by clicking on Page Titles but now I can t I can t be bothered to sift through all of that nonsense for a 5 page website You also can t touch the configurations to exclude these folders or even respect the robots file It went from being a useful freemium plugin to not being that at all I don t even know why they offer a free version any more It has since been uninstalled from my computer

I love Screaming Frog and I couldn t do without it Best quality price ratio of any other SEO tool around its direct competitors cost per month what Screaming Frog will cost you for a whole year Their support is number one fast and efficient and they re not just there to fix problems they ll be happy to help you with set up and crawling settings in case you re not sure Even their social media presence is brilliant There s only one thing you need to look out for this software has to be installed locally and it can require a lot of resources specifically RAM so be sure to install it on a machine that can support its performances

Screaming Frog is much better than any online SEO websites It is simple to use it provides what you need Screaming frog does not auto renew your license It is very respectful of the customer The software does not use your website data to help competitors as other online SEO websites do

Screaming Frog is probably the best tool for SEO you ll find Have been using it for years they always add new features and once you dig into the specifics of how everything works you can slice up a website in a thousand ways and dive deep into any analysis you need Another big factor what makes Screaming Frog an insanely good tool is the top-notch support I ve used a bunch of tools and this is the most solid support I ve ever gotten and it has never failed to impress over the past few years Highly recommend this tool for any serious SEO out there The few bad reviews on here are a joke and are not reflective of the quality of the tool nor the support
