worst experience from a dive shop
well I ve done it and actually found the worst dive shop supplier on earth1 Placed my order on 21 Nov 2022 as a Christmas gift for my son getting his PADI cert2 week later 28th checked website to see how order progressing website said no order placed rather concerned as the money had been taken I chased via email waited waited 3 30th Nov finally had reply my order had been placed expecting new stock in 2-3 weeks but no guarantee 4 11th Dec emailed as Xmas approaching reply on 12th said Aqualung were shipping them from USA to the store great 5 19th Dec emailed for update no reply 6 30th Dec chased once again 31st received an email saying the dive store had tried to call me I didn t get any call no email update on order waited 7 5th Jan emailled once again to ask for either a reasonable update on ETA of said order or a refund dive store replied saying they would issue a refund at no point has the store apologised for the delay or lack of fulfillment of order awful way to operate if they didn t have stock the website should have at least stated that or it would have been nice to hear from them that there may be a delay awful service only use this store if you like your time wasted and be treated like you are the problem for what you ordered

Faulty Dive computer not repaired or refunded 260 spent for nothing
I bought an Aqualung i330r dive computer from this online store on 27 September 2022 I paid 260 for it I used it maybe 10 times and then after charging it for another dive the screen turned red and the word error came up I had not breached any dive conditions I always dive responsibly and safely I emailed Damian Groves at ScubaDiveStore about it on 10 February 2023 He told me to send it to an address he emailed me I paid for a recorded delivery to that address on 17 February 2023 The faulty dive computer was signed for the other end Damian had said in his email that the computer would be sent to France to be repaired and that it might take up to 5 weeks for me to get it back I didn t hear back from him I then contacted him on 27 March He did respond via email on 27 March and we spoke on the phone later that day He said that the repairs department in France had had problems getting chips for the computer He offered me either a brand new Aqualung i330r we get them in every couple of weeks he said or I could put the money I d spent towards an i770r a more expensive Aqualung computer - presumably more reliable and in stock unlike the i330r I said I d opt for a new Aqualung i330r He emailed me to say No problem at all as soon as some more arrive you are first on the list I will let you know when we get them back in stock I haven t heard from him since despite sending him another email on 24 April 2023 I called the listed number 0113 4681100 various times after that and it always went to answerphone Then at 20 35 on 8 May I rang the number It went to answer but then a man called Dean phoned me back from the number I explained the whole situation Dean had a different accent from Damian s He told me that Damian was in France at that time visiting Aqualung and that he might come back with some computers He seemed surprised that Damian had told me they got new batches of Aqualung i330r s every fortnight - he stated that they hadn t had any new i330r s since August 2022 He said he would talk to Damian about my situation He also said that a refund of the money was possible He said he would phone me back the next day at 18 15 to discuss further if Damian did not contact me I made sure to email Dean a confirmation of our phone conversation with details of my order Damian did not contact me but Dean did phone me back on 9 May 2023 just after 18 15 He said that Aqualung had promised them some new i330r s within 10 days Would I want to wait or would I like a refund I said I would prefer a refund since the whole process had dragged on and I didn t trust that the new batch would come through in 10 days He agreed with me and said that he would process a refund to me He said that it would take up to 7 working days to come through It has now been 8 working days and I have received nothing I just tried to phone Dean on the number above 19 May 2023 at 15 47 and a message stated The number you are trying to reach is out of service Interestingly not once did Dean ask for the original order number of the dive computer when I bought it However I made sure to email him these details on the evening of 8 May 2023 I am pretty angry about this and think they have pulled a fast one on me Who knows But I am going to try to get my 260 back It s annoying because Dean was personable and reassuring on the phone and made excuses for Damian saying that the company had grown wings and that it was too much for Damian and that now he Dean was taking it over I have records of all my email and phone correspondence with them and the tracked parcel delivery slip for the faulty computer I m not sure if I ll hear back from these guys but I will follow this up and I will never do business with them again And I advise anyone out there not to go near them

On top of their game Swift professional service
A few weeks back I took a stab in the dark on the internet hoping to find a site selling a particular Mares Dive Computer I came across Scuba Dive Store despite it being a Sunday I wrote my request via email not expecting a reply until later on Monday I received a reply in minutes we were having a direct conversation via WhatsApp Paula knew exactly what I was after the timeframe to receive it and clearly had a great relationship with Mares as every aspect of the order was effortless for me While I remain living in Europe I ll be sure to refer back to this company for any future questions and purchases I sought out how to leave a review for this company because credit is due for their swift and easy service

Brilliant customer service
My wife bought a wetsuit online from Scuba Dive Store I emailed them on a Sunday to ask if could be delivered by the Thursday as my wife wanted to take it to Brazil with her They called me Sunday afternoon to say that they were not due to receive the new suit from the suppliers until the Tuesday and would send it overnight so we would receive on the Wednesday They then said that they had the older version of the same suit in stock and would send one out immediately for her to borrow so she would definetly have a suit to take with her Both suits arrived in time and she has gone to Brazil very happy Thank you for the fantastic customer service

Was let down by a local dive shop who
Was let down by a local dive shop who were serving my elderly Mares regulator which was returned to me in a box of bits 6 hours before I left for a weeks diving in Scotland Dean sorted a very reasonably priced Apex MTX-R for me and was happy for me to pick it up from his warehouse early on a Sunday morning These guys are competitively priced and prepared to go the extra mile would certainly use again

Great service Ordered two face masks that arrived very quickly I even had a phone call from them to confirm despatch as one of them was marked as on back order but had arrived that day
