if you have a joint account in Sweden and one of you die the whole account is frozen You are not classed as 2 kontohavare any longer The person who is alive can not get to their part of the money until the estate is cleared up In my opinion very unkind as in my case it is pension money and no chance of money laundering as they always refer to When will common sense prevail

Really bad have your money and cant use it they think its theirs money you need provide all kind of documents contracts where you gonna use your money i bough mc after sold it it was written in transaction what for money is but no still not enough avoid such bank

Hidden fees and horrible customer support
Made an International transfer to my US bank and SEB took out hidden fees When trying to contact them they say that I have to call their customer support to send picture of the amount I received As an international student the cost of doing all that work call cost while waiting in line will be greater than the 24 USD hidden fees on top of what the bank says the take The customer service through the banks SEB app has a really disappointing attitude Saying It s not us that wants your picture you have to call us in order to submit the picture - Sounds like a bank from the 18 hundreds to me

Terrible terrible terrible
Terrible they do not care getting new customers and they simply do not answer the phone or give you an appointment If they answer the phone they tell you they are going to transfer you and then you end up in the same queue If you request a call back at some point you get a message they try to contact you twice and they did not manage which is a total lie I have never seen such a level of complacency

I would rank this bankI would rank this bank - 10 if I could wanted to open an account called them 3 times to make an appointment everytime after spending around 30 minutes on the phone waiting they said someone will be calling me soon but they never returned my call Finally went to their Avenyn branch in Gothenburg a very rude emloyee told me that they can t open an account for me and I must go and call to make an appointment I explained that I have called many times with no response but he said this is how Sweden is Terrible experience with a horrible bank Will go to another bank hoping it s better though I m not hopeful because the system sucks in Sweden

Non-existent as a customer
You can be an SEB customer for many years but SEB don t care you are non-existent for them SEB will not give you opportunity to contact a real person to resolve your problem or do even a basic errand SEB customer service that don t care about you is the only your point of contact Don t expect that your money in SEB will be at your disposal at any time If you still try to find such opportunity expect to wait for hours in their numerous phone queues to different departments and to book useless appointments in their few offices in several weeks at the earliest SEB don t care that you need to work SEB do everything at yours expense for their own convenience not yours Stay away from SEB at any cost

Premium pricing garbage support
Since becoming a customer on several fronts with SEB a year ago I must say have never been this disappointed with a bank I am a customer with - House loan- Pension- SavingsNever have I been through such a poor customer service quality in ALL aspects Simply becoming a customer was the hardest and most time consuming process Asking simple questions will have you bounced around support and for each jump to the next expert you will wait in line until finally they have system issues and get asked to call back later I ve been a customer with 4 including the bank im switching to new and must say any of the other banks will give you a much better experience

Spurious problems with car for both
Spurious problems with car for both Road Worthy Cert and RACV inspection as reflected in second opinion Wanted to charge 2576 to treat surface rust on air filter support stating it was structural not the case and that it was a radiator support it was the air filter support and fogged headlight lenses which were clear overspray on under body as from factory it goes on and on Either they wanted to charge me a large amount of cash to do fake repairs or he wanted to buy my collectable vehicle cheap I have no idea But it cost me over 600 to be f ked over

missing kyc and debit card
I m a customer to SEB from quite some time now I am way form the home country Sweden I was asked to fill in an e-kyc form and i did that still my accounts are freeze and now they say i needed to send them the hard copy for the same which was never mentioned now they don t even have and email id to send the docs to i have to wait for the hard copy to reach them and then they will take their own sweet time to activate the account This has caused me around 1000 Kr penalty as i was not able to pay my dues on time due to this miss information given by the customer service staff My card has expired in the month of Jan and until Aug i have not received a new card
