I ve had pretty good experiences with various rental companies like Invygo and Carasti but this has been the worst by far Everything seems fine until you need assistance There s absolutely no customer service and I ve been waiting for a replacement car for six hours now I was taken to the wrong garage wasting an entire day trying to resolve this issue Plus there s no customer support available on the weekends

very poor service I booked a car and paid 1500 down payment which was taken as admin fee then 1500 deposit and then 1500 to rent the car for a month Due to personal reasons I had to return the car after 3 days of taking it The company informed me that they could maybe issue a refund for the 1500 monthly payment but they would need to take the car back and let me know They took the car back and said they couldn t refund me nor give me the car back after I had paid for it for a full month Would not recommend

Literally a scam company I receive unlimited notifications stating how they don t take deposits and deposit What s that nonsense but when you make a booking the first thing they ask for is a deposit before even asking for driver details They false advertise when i called them for a refund 5 mins after i made my booking they were so rude on the phone and said they will take 10 to cancel the booking

Security Deposit is NOT Refunded

They dont automatically refund the 2000 AED deposit unless you request them Reason you did not say you want them back Now refunding them is the biggest hassle ever as they try to make you give up on them

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I returned my car early and just like any other rental all deposits should be released They re saying now only after 30 days I have to file a refund request on the app First they charged 2 deposits and later post purchase tell you in the invoice it is NOT refundable Now are holding on to deposits for RTA and Salik which should be in real time within 10-15 working days DO NOT RENT from this app Better to go direct to car rental agencies and save yourself the headache

This is by far the hidden fee scam I fell for - 250Kms day mileage is a joke for the price - No deposit fee as a click bait but then takes a no deposit fee which is non refundable Basically charging more - Acting just as a third party just on a website isn t very helpful or useful for tourists visiting because there is no on-road support - Returned the car at the right time but the app still shows like I am still using it They say they will auto renew it unless I confirm the return which I cannot in the application I don t what site error it is - I would definitely not book via Selfdrive but book only directly through the rental companies because they are cheaper flexible and more responsible

Absolutely Terrible Experience Avoid at All Costs This is by far the worst car rental company I have ever dealt with There is ZERO customer support no one answers emails phone calls or any form of communication If you run into a problem you re completely on your own The car I rented was in terrible condition clearly no service checks were done beforehand It felt unsafe to drive and they didn t seem to care when I raised the issue To make matters worse they refused to issue the refund even though it was supposed promised This company is a total scam run by irresponsible people who have no interest in customer satisfaction Save yourself the frustration and rent elsewhere this company doesn t deserve your time or money
