DO NOT TRUST SHOE THE BEAR AND SAFESSLBILLPAY COM
On March 15 2017 I bought a pair of boots through Shoe the Bear homepage After waiting for more than 1 month I contacted Shoe the Bear to ghet an explanation and they informed me that they had already shipped my order and that I could follow the shipment Unfortunately the link did not work and I contacted them again asking for an expected delivery date After another 8 mail correspondence and 2-3 weeks passed I was told that the supplier unfortunately had exchanged 2 orders So how come I had not received any boots not even the wrtong ones Therefore I contacted them again to ask for an explanation and at the same time asked them to refund the amount if they could not confirm a delivery date As speaking the correspondence is with Safesslbillpay com who doesn t seem to make a refund Now we have May 16 2017 more than 2 months after placing the order What company sends out a survey to be compared to be a reliable company giving good service I have never been dealing with such an unreliable company - never place an order with SHOE THE BEAR or trust SAFESSLBILLPAY COM

Very poor quality very poor service
Agree with other reviewers on here - very poor quality Bought my Shoe the Bear boots from John Lewis All the stitching started to come away after a few wears Neither JL nor Shoe the Bear would help Have now taken to a good old fashioned Cobblers to be re-stitched He tells me he has fixed a lot of these boots The thread they use is substandard apparently Waste of money

122 IMPORT DUTY UNPAID
I ordered boots for my Daughter for Christmas shipping was super fast and out for delivery with UPS within days However they could not be handed over before I paid 122 import duty on top of the 180 price of the boots I looked at the T C s and saw that Shoe the Bear SHOULD cover this Despite 50 emails I have been unable to sort it out with either Shoe the Bear or UPS Everyone is telling me that this cannot be solved quickly I have no experience in importing goods so I have no clue whose fault this is but I am unbelievably disappointed as is my Daughter We now head towards New Year STILL with no boots despite our best enquiries I would add that my emails to Shoe the Bear are now being ignored

My boots took 7 days to arrive when I should have had them in 2-4 I returned them as they were too small although correct size was ordered I had to pay 14 shipping and quite frankly it s outrageous so don t order from them unless you re absolutely sure they will fit I will not be ordering again unless they cover the cost of returns They should be renamed Bad news bears

Worst company and customer service
WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD I ordered a pair of boots which were on promotion at the time after over a week I received them and they were too big decided to exchange them for a smaller size I contacted them and they said I had to pay double of the price I paid since they were not in promotion anymore At this point I just wanted to refund them when I went to the post office to send them I was informed the price was 50 just to ship them back to Denmark and this is not covered by the brand I was SO shocked I emailed customer service extremely upset they didn t give any solution and couldn t even put a formal complaint they were avoiding me since the first minute So I refused to lose 50 just refunding them and ended up keeping them when I can t even wear them ABSOLUTELY DISSAPOINTED

4 months and already falling apart
I was so pleased with my purchase of Shoe The Bear biker boots which is bought from John Lewis 4 months later the stitching between the sole and boot has come apart - an obvious fault Contacted Shoe The Bear and they are not interested as I didn t buy direct I contacted John Lewis and they won t do anything as it was not within 30 days Shoe The Bear need to take responsibility as the manufacturer but they will not I would have thought a pair of 140 boots would last longer than 4 months and Shoe The Bear could not give a damn not even an apology If they cared about their product they would do something considering the product is faulty Extremely poor product quality and customer service

Fell apart in 3 months
I bought a paid off men s size 10 Chelsea boots from House of Fraser in January 2023 In April 2023 the heels on both shoes started to come away from the sole with one completely coming away and leaving the sole split I wrote to the customer service team who said they would be unable to help Poor quality shoes and poor quality customer service Avoid

Contact customer service prior to return they say Tried to but only got an answering machine Return if you live outside Denmark cost a fortune and don t be sure you get a refund I still haven t Will not purchase from this shop again Too bad actually as they have nice shoes but nevertheless not worth it if they don t fit and you end up paying for both the shoes returned and the expensive return -all for nothing
