Do yourself a favor shop elsewhere
I placed my order on 13 January 2022 but FedEx another joke of a company has not delivered my package as of today 22 January 2022 I contacted Sierra s customer service and the representative Sandra told me that I have to wait until 28 January they allow 15 days for FedEx to deliver She couldn t get me off chat fast enough Oh also my order was delayed by Sierra claiming my address hadn t been verified they never contacted me I only found out because I contacted them for the first time to see why my package hadn t shipped yet Funny my address has been verified numerous times by all the carriers including FedEx that have been delivering packages during the pandemic Additionally Sierra didn t delay charging my account for the items they couldn t ship because they needed to verify my address My advice to you shop somewhere else Sierra and FedEx equally offer no customer service and frankly neither care if you receive your items undamaged and on time You the customer are a mere inconvenience that has made them multi-billion-dollar corporations In other words their ideology is you need them more than they need you

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service I had no idea Sierra Trading Post was bought up This makes so much sense now I had good experience in the past but this time just horrible I bought cross country ski boots on their website I received them less than 2 weeks ago I just tried them out last weekend and nearly broke my foot The shoe didn t fit into the old 3-pin binding properly and the soft rubber made me slip out multiple times They should be lucky I didn t break anything because I would have sewed them after this response Dear Amy sent me a nice automated message without any recognition of me nearly breaking my foot which I clearly stated in my message to them Read for yourself I m sure multiple people are getting the same message Thank you for contacting Sierra Customer Service We are very sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your product To confirm the item does not meet our 40 30 day return criteria and therefore cannot be returned Please note items must also be returned in original condition We ask that items be inspected for satisfaction immediately upon receipt so they can be returned right away We have implemented a 40 30 day return policy for items in original condition in order to keep our costs low so we can pass the savings back to you our customers Please feel free to review our return policy on our website Again we are truly sorry for this inconvenience and greatly appreciate your understanding Have a great day Please have a wonderful rest of your day If you have any other questions or concerns please don t hesitate to contact us We are always happy to help Sincerely Amy

Horrible experience
Horrible experience First of all the ordered arrived after one month a half after a very long wait I was super disappointed in the quality Size doesn t correspond at all is Chinese sizes and the they don t mention anywhere this website is from China the clothes don t have any logo with sierra Darien so most like is some cheap copy of a brand now a big problem is also the return policy they don t send someone to collect the stuff they want you to find a courier to send them an email in advance and then they will tell you an address etc very complicated process most likely they will not return any money to you Stay away from this website

Unacceptable practices
Our household has been Sierra Trading Post customers for 30 years and have been generally satisfied until this past year or so Order processing and shipping times have become absurd and unacceptable their returns process laborious Moreover we have ordered more than one item now which has not been as pictured or described on their website Frankly it now feels less like an error and more like a bait and switch tactic The return of such an item should be easy and hassle free for the customer right Wrong at least according to Sierra A return shipping fee will be charged for the return of a product due to their error deception Also absurd and unacceptable For the latest example every review of the item we purchased is exactly the same- customers stating that it is not as described or pictured Having been customers for so many years we do understand that the items we purchase are either close outs or irregulars we have generally had no issues with that for three decades What we do have a problem with is being deceived by Sierra who takes no responsibility for their actions As such I can no longer state in good faith that this company is trustworthy or values their customers

worst online shopping experience ever
placed an online order on monday nothing sent in one week called and they said that it would ship out and then the order was cancelled instead of getting me my item this is a stay away from online shopping experience if you choose ground shipping it could take over 20 days to get to you 20 days used to be the best shopping experience around now its a 50-50 if you re even going to get the item

Ordered a few items 3 out of the 6 had holes large holes that had been restitched They are factory seconds but the description reads SMALL blemishes These are not small blemishes Very disappointed These items are garbage or free not sellable I have ordered factory seconds before from another retailer and they were not of this quality Don t buy from Sierra

THE UGLIEST SHIRT
I ve received a gift from this site It was supposed to be a cute lace shirt with ballon sleeves but instead I received the ugliest shirt I ve ever seen The quality was orribile shein has greater quality It s a shame because the photos on the site were completely different I hope this site will shut down soon

I have been a loyal customer of Sierra Trading Post since 2006 spending thousands of dollars on their products I rarely have to return items because I know my sizes well and most of the time the fit is perfect for me However my recent purchase of hiking pants and shoes was a complete disaster Despite my weight remaining the same neither the shoes nor the pants fit me at all I requested a return sent the items back with the provided label only to discover that I never received a refund The lack of concern for my loyalty and the years I have spent with them is appalling I asked for a credit to use on future purchases but they refused to provide one The customer service was unhelpful with no option to escalate my complaint to a higher-ranking representative The whole experience was cold and rude I will be taking my business elsewhere and I strongly advise others to do the same
