Worst customer service I ve ever seen
Worst customer service I ve ever seen I ve found a couple of REAL bugs and posted them on the support forum Every single time they have said it s expected behaviour even though it has made no sense at all I m a developer trader and have made my own trading software also I definitely know what is a bug and what is not When I ve tried to fight back a little to get the bugs fixed they have deleted the threads and banned my account from posting for some time

Worst Customer Service
Sierra Chart is arguably the best retail trading platform currently available for technical traders Sadly their customer service is the worst I have experienced They randomly drop support for data feeds and brokers without notice unless you are scouring the entire forum each and every day I suppose And they refuse to add newly introduced instruments to the platform for specific brokers - even when you are using THEIR OWN Denali datafeed I was told to request a refund if I was unsatisfied And upon doing this they credited only 15 of the balance due - with no explantion if you are a serious trader I would stay away from Sierra Chart and look elsewhere for a platform that will both meet your needs and offer you the level of service required to trade professionally

Left Out to Dry on Their Public Message Board
Sent a request for service to their private messaging system Requested a refund unless their team could help me get a template installed that wasn t previously working Also requested bybit data which they don t have understandable but not transparent about that lack of broker support on their website My private request was then posted to their public message board in an attempt to make an example out of me I m not sure honestly Still haven t received assistance on the template installation just the public execution Taking my talents to ExoCharts or TealStreet where I ll surely get a better user interface and experience

Poor customer service
Poor customer service poorly designed GUI this site is stuck in the 80s if you ask me There are way better alternatives out there Sierra chart is a horrible website and should not even be taken seriously by professionals or retail traders Will never recommend this to anyone

If l could give them a zero l would They also do data collection and literally will stiff you out of your deposit to buy in to their data and trading platforms Very upset they refuse to work with you as a staff or contractor If they do this to a contractor or staff imagine what they can do to you as a investor

Do your due diligence on SierraChart Two brothers from New Zealand who hide in the midwestern US own Teton IT Managment Services and SierraChart is merely a fictitious business name The company address is listed as 30 N Gould St Suite 4261 Sheridan WY 82801 which is a small storefront rented by 53 267 different scam businesses The Wyoming Attorney General s Office Consumer Protection Division launched an investigation of that address in November of 2024 and is accepting a boatload of complaints They likely won t be in business much longer as evidenced by their buggy and outdated trading platform and website Remember in most markets trading deposits are not insured Don t deposit anything into a sinking ship

Best charting softwareNot easy to use and support is a bit rudeBut this software is second to noneThe support forum is the place to go when you have a problem Usually they answer in a couple of hoursThey have developed their own order routing TETON that allows to place bracket orders server sideI am waiting for an agreement with AMP for TETON

I suspect the majority of people
I suspect the majority of people writing reviews on TP aren t traders A quick scan elsewhere will show - along with my own experience that Sierra has been around for a long time and is head and shoulders above any other retail trading platform Yes the UI is out of date the customer service lacks panache and is occasionally crunchy but most of all it takes a few weeks to navigate your way around and is complex Hence most people give up But all that is because it is the best in the business The next grade up is custom written software written by the big guys
