Not inclusive contrary to messaging
I actually applied for a job at Sinch because it sounded like the company could be fun to work for After a first call with the acquisition specialist I was told that the next step was an assignment that should take about 3 hours which would be used to determine whether I would proceed to the formal interview I was skeptical but reluctantly agreed When I received the assignment I was frankly shocked at the poor quality of it So I emailed my contact and explained why I found the assignment to be contrary to principles of inclusion in light of my experience as a neurodivergent person and how it was asking a lot from candidates with no reciprocating gestures The response was bad Refusal to listen responding to irrelevancies instead of the point and straight up gaslighting I kept reiterating that I d be happy to do the assignment over a call as the job involves collaboration throughout anyway but this was constantly ignored with the acquisition person repeatedly trying to exclude me by replying as if I d simply refused to continue the process I hope that the issue was more the person I was dealing with and less the company but my experience is with them as a representative of Sinch and as such my review has to reflect that

Shockingly bad
As a veteran of some 20 years in SMS I can tell you Sinch have given us more downtime in 6 months than we ve had in aggregate over 20 years from other providers combined Very poor customer service Have suffered a lot of downtime as we were migrated from previous SAP platform They take weeks to do anything including resolve a security policy breach at their end As a customer I have no importance feel completely under valued and am left with no way to impact their chronic service on my customers and business They ve grown massively through acquisitions over the last 3 years and are clearly unable to cope Look elsewhere unless you want a lot of hassle

shockingly bad i tried to upgrade my account by depositing 10 they first ignored me for a week i also asked their customer service if they provide actually voice api to make live calls with multiple times an they ignored my question and said i failed security even though i have a limited company and website i provided them everything i think this company are just chancers they cant provide so they don t tell you and simply give you a vague response that you didn t pass security after giving all your information after a couple of weeks wouldnt trust i think they make most of their money of data harvesting read the rest of the reviews rude customer service

AVOID Fraudulent
AVOID fraudulently took money from me after providing evidence back and forth of ignorant emails from themselves because they won t admit what they ve done or meet me face to face they re closing the case I requested numerous times their complaints procedure and what ombudsman etc they re under to complain to be completely ignored of the answer numerous times They re thieving liars and absolutely fraudulent so AVOID

Poor customer service not suitable for UK despite contract with BT
We needed to interface our software to Sinch SMS for a customer We encountered several bugs and configuration problems with Sinch s API Sinch s Customer Service took two weeks to get back to our developers and only after we chased four times It turns out Sinch does not support sending to UK numbers at all in development mode This blocked development and caused us to advise our customer to switch SMS provider The lack of UK support is really poor given that BT British Telecom subcontracts their services for UK customers

Choose another service provider
You check all the information you can find about their services and all looks good this one is useable When the time comes to upgrade the account you get denied without explanation After sending tickets to their support they simply reply with there is a risk associated with the details and you get shut down Each piece of information is then vetted and any which do not meet the standards will be declined No clarification on what this information is either Wasted weeks on trying to use their solution to send text messages over pc Don t waste your time or resources on this company take your business elsewhere And I am not the only one with this experience

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Sinch Their response times are abysmal often taking 4-5 months to address any issues This kind of delay is unacceptable for any serious company Not only have I lost money due to their inefficiency but their lack of timely resolutions has been incredibly frustrating Their customer service is virtually non-existent and it feels like they don t care about their customers concerns at all I would strongly advise against using Sinch for any business needs Save yourself the trouble and look for a more reliable service provider I will be sharing my negative experience across all possible platforms to warn others Sinch has earned the worst review I could possibly give Maybe this review won t matter to them but it will certainly matter to potential customers
