Very bad experience overall
I m very disappointed in this app I ve used it for booking my skipass for this season - the application is very non-intuitive with the options you need more non-existing or hidden in the least expected menu - I could not benefit from all the benefits offered due to unnecessary complicated procedures - both mobileapp and the website crashed and returned errors on multiple occasions I m on the process of canceling my subscription and I would advice against using any services from skistar com or skimore no

This is a classic bad customer experience Got shoes online in Norway which arrived without the return lap The shoes arrived wrong size and i need to return them I called the customer service who would not help me and told me to find a local store to contact I found a store which could not help me and they sent me to the warehouse in Sweden with only phone number as a contact In Sweden noone picked up a phone in 3 days but when calling them- they have left a contact email on their voicemail to which i emailed and we have commuicated There were many hoops and obstacles with return- noone knew when the packge will be picked up with the reurn lap the skistar was vague and untruthful saying the DB Schenker which was a delivery company here was trying to call me Noone ever called let me tell you 30 days for return but we were already at week 3 with no progress on next steps I finally called DB Schneker multiple times to get them to come in the end we have solved it with pain delays and unfriendly customer service at times sometimes they apologized for their bad treatment of customers I do not recommend buying anything from this store online

If I could have given this company a zero I would have Having booked our ski holiday in January 2020 with them for December 2020 I had to change the booking due to Covid When the original booking was made I took out their insurance that allows you to amend the date or cancel up to 21 days before travel My booking was moved to March 21 again I had to change the booking as Covid was still with us and changed to January 22 each time I asked if the insurance was still valid reply always being yes With current rates we decided to cancel or move the date rather than risk getting stuck in Norway if we caught Covid Skistar now claim that the insurance is now invalid as we are no longer in the EU and will not refund me the money I have paid for the holiday or allow me to move the booking If you try to call them you wait on average an hour for someone to answer the phone I was told by 1 of their employees that I was entitled to a refund and a credit note was raised Now they are back tracking and say I am not entitled to the money and that each time the booking was amended a new insurance policy was raised despite me only paying for 1 policy When the bookings were amended we weren t in the EU and I was still allowed to purchase the insurance Having read the booking terms and conditions it clearly states if you cancel between 41-15 days before travel you are entitled to 50 refund I mentioned this on the phone and the customer service advisor just went quiet and told me to raise another complain and raise it with the relevant Norwegian government department so their excuses don t stack up My booking records now appear to show they are claiming a refund from the insurance company but not passing it on to me so they have the money I have paid them and the money the insurance company is paying them I will never book with Skistar again as absolutely no goodwill or understanding has been offered by them

I originally booked with Skistar in 2019 to ski in April 2020 With Covid that was rebooked for April 2021 and then again for Feb 2022 We are meant to fly out on Friday I checked the booking today out of curiosity and there is no record of it A single email I have since found in my junk mailbox requests the balance of payment and states that if it is not paid that the booking will be cancelled and that they do not do reminders I have a family excited to go skiing flights and travel booked and now nothing but a measly sorry from Skistar

AVOID this ski school Trysil Guidene or Skistar TrysilMy daughter was signed up for a begineer class where kids WITHOUT previous experience could learn Just after 2 days they were taken to a RED slope and my daughter got an accident because of other kid in the group couldn t control the speed Now my daughter can t even walk and I m just hoping for it will get better No questions asked from the school no one cares Think twice before signing your kids to that skischool

We just visited Hundfj llet and this was the first time for 18 years What a disappointment Our earlier vacations to Hundfj llet has been wonderful This time we booked a cottage at Skistar com Upon arrival the cottage was dirty the baby bed was broken the safety grille for the stairs was broken and the heat couldn t reach more than 18 degrees C We called customer service on the phone and waited for 48 minutes before they answered the phone A person was send to fix the baby bed and the safety grille only the bed was fixed changed An other person was send to do some cleaning but we already did a lot ourself to enter the cottage because we didn t want the children to wait for hours in the car They tried to fix the heatingsystem but did not succeed The morning after arrival we tried to call customer service again but they were closed We tried to call the number that was given by the answering machine We waited on the phone for 45 minutes but didn t get any response We send a mail to the customer service mail and we got an automated response that they will answer within 48 hours Now after one week we are returning to home and we still didn t get any answer Totally unacceptable this must be the worst customer service in the world Skistars seem to be very happy to receive your bookings and your money After that they seems to be completely ignorant to the customer We can not recommend that you book anything at Skistar com Hundfj llet as a geographic spot is very nice for families with children So sad that the place in a ski star destination We consider Kl ppen for next time They are not a skistar location

Poor customer service and dynamic prices
Really bad customer service from Skistar It is not possible to have a true dialog with them They just keep referring to the booking terms instead of answering my questions Be aware of their very dynamic prices In my situation I booked a holiday and payed the deposit 2 weeks later but you will not be notified if the prices has gone down between the booking and the payment of the deposit You will have to recheck the price before paying the deposit and make a new booking I failed to do that because of my trust in their prices Normally early booking means getting a good price not in this case The price was 10599 dkk at the time of booking and 9760 dkk at the time paying the deposit Skistar keeps insist that I have to pay 10599 dkk even if I could just have made a new booking for free There is no understanding from Skistar regarding this Many places have some sort of price guarantee for a month so that these situations do not occur Skistar should consider introducing this concept if they want happy customers and dynamic prices at the same time This is the last time I am using Skistar
