Don t go this way Use either SKY Q or Virgin Stream is rubbish sometimes it works but other times it doesn t You often can t get it to add your favourite programme to the playlist It stops mid play and then you can t get it all So damn frustrating Worst move I ever made

Sky Stream - Not For Sports Fans

I regret moving to Sky Streaming because playlist doesn t work For every 30 seconds of play it fast forwards skips 10 seconds Watching a game on your playlist is frankly stressful e g you go from watching attacking play then switching to watching a goal celebration without actually having seen the goal If you need to watch recorded games this is not the service for you

Unintelligent tech

Far too many glitches not enough content Don t even try to watch sports it will keep freezing lagging and going out of sync You pay to fast forward ads Netflix and YouTube not included but you have to still watch them or you ll fast forward the programme too - how retro Fast forwarding ads usually results in the device freezing although it randomly freezes at other times too requiring a restart Given there are four lots of ads in any given programme you can imagine how frustrating this is SkyStream is simply not worth 36 a month not even close Note that Sky have not claimed this page a reflection of how little they care about the service they fail to provide

Sky Stream - utterly useless

We had Sky Q but moved house to a conservation area and had to move to skystream It s utterly woeful Painfully slow to start up with horrically clunky navigation makes it almost unuseable If you pause or rewind a programme at any point it then doesn t allow you to use subtitles It isnt possible to record any programmes you can only add them to a watch list As soon as it s possible I ll be binning this useless piece of rubbish

Horrendous Avoid

Horrendous for longer sporting events Be prepared to be trapped in an endless loop of adverts you ve already Sat through or a sudden jump back and loop of something you ve previously seen Cluttered playlist pushing things you don t want with no ability to personalise or discard previously viewed programmes from the endless lists I have given up watching so many programmes as a result most recently last night s ravens bills game Also do not expect any personalised response to help requests just generic non relevant patter

I give up - I m cancelling Sky Stream

This is my 3rd and final review of Sky Stream because I m cancelling it and there s nothing Sky can say to keep me I ve endured a black screen for a year Sky replaced my puc when I called to cancel before and it worked for about a month They ve taken me through all the settings adjustments but even after following their instructions I ve still got a black screen - except I can now hear what I can t see I can stream Netflix Apple etc on my TV and I can watch Sky Go on my tablet It s not my Internet that s the problem it s Sky Stream If anyone is considering getting it don t waste your money I ve given it more chances than I should have but ultimately I m paying for Sky and streaming direct to my TV and not getting to use it I also note the Trust Pilot score has dropped from 3 to 1 7 in the time I ve had it which says it all really

Can t fast forward adverts unless you add extra package so more money which is standard on other platforms like virgin media On the TV guide you can t scroll back to previous programs missed yet again another standard feature on other platforms just like virgin media you can go back seven days on the tv guide and pick anything you missed on sky stream soon as the next program starts you cant scroll back only can go forward I can see why people get chipped fire sticks now as sky is still stuck in the past

Trying to watch Scotland v Portugal keeps going to black screen loses resolution keeps glitching When my year is up I am going back to Vodafone Sky stream is a disaster I am on 60Mbs which should be good enough for FHD HAH JUST WENT AGAIN Technical glitch on this channel Ffsake

Terrible tried to go back to Sky from Virgin as I remembered Sky being superior what a disaster now instead of being able to pause for two hours it says on Google that Sky stream pauses for 45 minutes in reality your lucky to get a pause of twenty It also for no reason at all decided to delete recorded programmes at whim then the screen would stall and stutter My advice DON T DO IT It just doesn t work
