We ordered our garden room after getting quotes from many others We went with Smart as we wanted that wow factor and had many bespoke elements which others were not interested in The company were an absolute pleasure from start to finish Firstly the guy came out to our house to discuss the options this was not a pressured sale in any way at all He made us feel comfortable and gave us the advice help we needed Then we were handed to our project manager who I must say was great She kept in touch on the lead up to the install informing us of what will happen and when Then the guys arrived on site They built our room in 4 days The guys were fantastic and great tradesmen to have at our home Their quality of work is out of this world They were very friendly to me and my husband it may have been my baking which helped hahaAll in all I highly recommended smart We converted our garden room into our dining room on Christmas Day as we love it so much The family loved the new building and it s as warm as our house Thank you

FAB Fantastic Affinity Building

I ve deliberately waited for a several months to pass before writing my review of SMART just in case we came up with any major issues over winter I m pleased to say that our Affinity garden room is still as perfect as the day I signed for the completed building in September 2021 The team which came to do the build were really excellent and despite being initially put up in a really poor hotel miles away which luckily got changed they were a pleasure to have around The 3 of them had obviously got a good rapport and were extremely professional Our building was completed in 3 1 2 days which nobody can believe when they see it The 2 5m x 3 6m covered canopy area has already seen a few parties and kept our friends dry and sheltered Our room with climate control sourced by ourselves is multi-use being a place to sit and relax a study and work area for my new garden design vocation and a place to pedal hard on an indoor smart bike The only minor glitches we had with a missing down light a small piece of guttering to change and the decked step to be brought and built were sorted within a few days I also had to call about the patio door needing an adjustment after it gradually settled and wouldn t quite close at the bottom Smart sent someone to sort that out with no issues I wouldn t hesitate to recommend this company but would just remind them to look after their teams who spend so long away from home

Fabulous new Art Studio

Whilst researching a garden art room I looked at lots of brochures visited many showrooms and Smart garden rooms were the most impressive It was worth the long trek from Portishead to Suffolk to see the buildings in situ Planning from start to finish was easy greatly helped with a visit from the company surveyor who showed a photo of what the garden room would look like in the position we had chosen Everything ran like clockwork the fitting of the ground screws beforehand actual start date payment dates arrival of work team workmen electricians - even the portaloo was delivered on time and promptly removed after the job was finished The workmen started work as soon as it was light and worked non-stop until the end of the day They barely stopped for a break and were most polite and professional We were very impressed My new art studio is amazing It has withstood the recent storms perfectly - I am so very happy with it The wall heater only has to be on a short while before the room heats up I would have liked an instruction manual with the heater I had to download a copy for the internet to work it The only thing I wish were different is the angle on the outside lights - they are at an angle about 25 instead of pointing downwards the Suffolk barn has sloped slats can this be fixed Communication with the office has been great I can t recommend this company highly enough They were simply amazing
