Please don t use this company I asked for my legal right to use the 14 day unwind and 30 days on they were still refusing to let me execute my legal right They are rude and lie on recoded calls all the time By a million mile the worse finance company I have ever dealt with DONT USE THEM PLEASE

Worst company ever

Worst company ever Due to pay our car off this year and they are hitting us with all sorts of charges but won t provide what these are after asking for them Made an arrangement for an amount to be taken out as direct debit and they took 189 extra out from what was agreed We also made a payment online to them and it never showed on our account till we questioned this There excuse was a technical error Now passing to the financial ombudsman to deal with this pathetic company Never again would I use them I would rather walk than use this company to finance a car or anything

Shocking company finance finished after

Shocking company finance finished after 2 years gave the car back took plenty pics before pick up of the vehicle the company are saying there is 978 worth of damage to the vehicle absolute disgrace of a company funny how there 3rd part report for repairs is always in there favour will be taking this further absolute jokers

Car through them via Zuto

Car through them via Zuto garage has car for 1 and half months now won t repair the car Zuto said not there issue and and SMF say they have to wait for Zuto to pass over garage details to do anything with rejection We are now nearly two weeks of waiting I wouldn t use them or Zuto Extremely disappointed and no one seems to bother or actually think there should be a time line that someone does wait for a reply before they do something themselves SMF have the details of the garage but won t call them

Car Faulty - Rejected with FOS - 6 Month Process

Took over 6 months to get SMF to reject the car and refund all premiums FOS even told SMF to stop charging me whilst the Complaint was being handled but they refused and I ended up paying for a car I couldn t drive Had to chase the complaints team multiple times - became a daily task via email and phone Even had to mailshot the MD and Directors that I found on LinkedIn I ended up faciliating the communication between SMF FOS and the Dealer - surely that should be the complaints teams resposnibility and not the customers Complaints Team are massivly understaffed and the expereince I had means I ll never use SMF again If I can t trust the process this time why and how can I trust it again

AVOID SMF Motor

I come across SMF motor through carloan 365 and at first it went smoothly without much hassle but I decided to cancel the loan contract within 14 days as per contract because my family decided to purchase the car outright to avoid the high interest cost I called SMF customer service and this been logged and was told my account would be cancelled After a week there were no update so I called on several occasion and been told different things The company does not reply and complaint team do nothing This been a stressful process and I don t recommend anyone to use SMF Poor customer service

Do not touch these people

I took out with them in 2013 14 they set a debt recovery company on me and the loan is no longer valid SMF seemed to think I might had had my reference number tattooed on meAfter no contact in 9 years they appear to magically found my email address today The debt recovery company have closed their account and now won t chase me for money

Used this terrible company to buy my car on finance and have had nothing but trouble with the car Gearbox failed - new gearbox 895Cat failed - 490 and just failed again another 490 On contacting SMF they could not be interested in any form and clearly placed the blame on my shoulders never missed a payment cant wait to pay the car off and never touch this company in any shape or form again
