Very bas experience with this dentist
I had a very bad experience with this dental practice South Cliff Dental Group Trinity Trees Practice in Eastbourne I joined a private scheme which cost me 55 for an initial consultation but they said the scheme would allow me to become an NHS patient after 6 months I thought this was great as i was struggling to find an MHS dentist but also wanted some private treatment done in the mean time A great was to kill 2 birds with 1 stone although thats what i thought but then some things can be too good to be true ehh Not at all I booked an appointment to have the work done and paid 340 upfront 2 weeks before the treatment I showed up for my appointment 30 mins early I went into the surgery and the dentist i formed me that they would not be able to do any treatment today and that i was no longer welcome at the practice They offered me a refund for the 340 which will take 28 days to be returned but they have refused to refund me 55 for the initial consultation This practice is a complete rip off and a con I would stay well away from here and take your money somewhere else Also no experienced receptionist were present at any on my appointments or when booking Reception area is a complete mess

Legal action has had to be taken
Have now had to ask for a CCJ to be issued to get my refund from this unreliable unprofessional organisation I would not advise anyone to do business with this company Zero communication Have never had to do this before Appalling

No dentist on staff
Routine checkup by a staff member not the dentist finds I need a crown on a slightly broken tooth in June 2024 Only appointment available was 4 months later OCT Attended Oct appt and was taken into a private room and advised no treatment as Dentist had left practice 2 months previously And no dates for a future dentist The staff member advised he could not refer me another surgery within the group for treatment nor understood how he could refer me to my local dental access hospital As my tooth was now actually broken with a razor sharp edge No phone call prior to appointment to save 60 mile round trip and expensive parking fees Email send to Practice Manager and absolutely no response so far Other than tel nos for the many surgeries around the country there are NO ways to contact headquarters or actually complain to them Contacting other surgeries drew a blank for any information on above Refused to transfer me as an nhs patient but all offered me expensive private treatment Which if i could have afforded in the first place I would have done Appears this company are happy to claim yearly fees for each registered NHS patient but have no dentist to treat them nor are willing to refer for treatment its has diagnosed within its own company

South Cliff Dentist A litany of lies - deception - in dealing with my problem They have failed apparently respond to a formal complaint from the district NHS complaints offices You cannot contact their head office - registered as Dumbledore - go to the top of the waiting list - wait for over an hour for a response and then get cut off My surgery has not had an NHS Dentist for over 14 months or so I have been told Then last week I read the reviews of patients - latest 2 weeks ago saying what a great job the dentist had done I have been without dentures for two years Excuse after excuse after excuse in fact an act of fraud New patient - find somewhere else Existing patient Join the list of dissatisfied patients and lodge a formal complaint I would not have been able to start this review without awarding a star In reality MINUS FIVE This is an experience of covering the last two years

Don t waste your time or money and protect your teeth from them
They never answer the phone and for over a year they have had technical issues The filling that was done to stabilise my tooth has failed and my tooth has now broken I said I was worried about it before and was told it was fine Now 3 hrs today and no answer on the phone

Go somewhere else or pay to go private if you can
I had a check up at South Cliff dental group Hamble on Friday 4th October 2024 Everything went well and I was told my teeth were fine and there was no need for a hygienist appointment As I wanted to get my teeth whitened I booked one anyway for 25th October 2024 Firstly the appointment was over half an hour late despite being a 9am booking Upon entering I was made aware that the hygienists were off sick however instead of contacting me prior to this to try to rearrange my appointment I was squeezed in During the appointment I was made to hold my own suction equipment in place which was very uncomfortable and felt like I was doing half the work myself This is something I have never had to do before during a visit to the dentist or hygienist Once the lady had completed the treatment she informed me that I needed to get another check up in two weeks which I would have to pay for Despite the fact that I had only had a checkup 3 weeks previous on the 4th October and was told everything was great and I didn t need a hygienist All of this lasted around 10 minutes And was charged around 70 for I felt like I had been scammed so asked for a refund I filled out the form and was told it can take up to ten days Since then I have rang and emailed numerous times and have been told different information about how long my refund will take 10 14 28 days I feel like they re waiting for me to forget and I feel like I am being lied too It s now been almost ten weeks and still nothing They have never got in contact with me it s always me chasing it I will not be using this dental surgery again They have always been late when we have have previous appointments but this time really was a shockingly bad experience

do NOT go here
probably the WORST dentist i ve ever been to they have cancelled almost all of my appointments multiple times and they commonly do not give you any notice beforehand with my experience they cancel from a few days before to the morning of the appointment and when you try to call them back like it says to do they hang up the phone the minute you get to the front of the queue they don t even deserve one star

TERRIBLE PLACE Unprofessional can t get an appointment Suddenly after YEARS of being there with wonderful staff and dentists it s turned into an unprofessional unhelpful JOKE Was told if I don t have a check up in 2 weeks I will be taken off the books I rand and rang voicemail says press number 2 to leave a message but voicemail FULL Phone always to voicemail NEVER answered and can t leave a message The dentist last time said I don t need a filling when I went to another and I had it done it was actually badly infected Hygienist was flitting from one practice to another and his English not great This is a total JOKE I tried to contact practice manager they don t exist I was looking for cameras to see if this was a comedy show for TV as it s scary and laughable Need to be TAKEN OVER NEW STAFF NEW DENTIST and NEW PHONES Surely this company must be going bust
