Just returned from Peru and Ecuador fantastic trip

Just returned from Peru and Ecuador trip organized by Souther Explorations Every detail of the trip went of wonderfully from having people waiting as you exit the airport to fabulous guides to take you through the sites Our guide Jose in Peru was wonderful knew all the history and was such a kind person grea t guide for our 5 days in Peru The boat we stayed on in the Galapagos was terrific fun group of people and the boat staff was tremendous The guide Victor Hugo was also great to provide insights into the animals and ecosystem of the Galapagos The snorkeling was the best I have ever done Overall a great trip I would recommend to anyone

Southern Explorations SA customized our itinerary to meet all of our interests and their downloadable portal was a great reference tool throughout the trip The transfers accommodations guides and excursions were excellent and the guides went out of their way to make sure we had the experience we were wanting This was our second trip with SA and we ll gladly use them again if our travel plans take us back to South America and we ve also referred them to others

After waiting 3 5 years to take this trip it was even better than imagined Southern explorations worked with us over the time to reschedule the trip several times due to Covid 19 It was all top notch from the meeting at the airport local guides air reservations hotel and of course the boat in the Galapagos We could not have asked for more

Great itinerary comfortable and clean hotels amazing guides

Our experience in Argentina was very special The hotels were clean modern with a great staff and perfectly located The breakfast in every location was over the top We had a different guide for each area we visited They were all very engaging they lived in the area or nearby and they were knowledgeable about the history the plant life animals and culture The trip was exactly what we told the staff at S E We were hoping to see and do We are very please Argentina is an amazing country with wonderful happy people

Wonderful trip to Peru Our Guide for Machu Picchu and surrounding areas William was excellent and I would highly recommend him So many wonderful things to see in Peru could have stayed months Souther Explorations did fantastic job when one of the airports closed without notice and they arranged flights and transportation on short notice to keep are trip smooth

Trip of a Lifetime

Our trip to Peru Ecuador the Galapagos was to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and was postponed twice because of COVID-19 We had the highest satisfaction with all aspects guides cultural highlights lodging assistance with travel requirements arrangements The Letty cruise ship was our ultimate favorite naturalists knowledge ship-board staff delicious food drinks a personal copy of the cruise video This trip will be impossible to top Liz Gary W

All arrangements went as planned Southern Explorations people all along the way were there prepared helpful and professional When a flight was delayed and we called for help the Southern Explorations rep in Ecuador was already aware of the situation and working on making necessary changes even before we managed to call her Overall I was very impressed by the people and the work they do

Southern Explorations was recommended to us by friends and I am so grateful to them They were helpful every step of the way which covered more than three years due to the pandemic Our Galapagos trip was all we d hoped and they remained helpful to the very end despite COVID throwing a wrench in the works They really went above and beyond expectations and I would recommend them to anyone planning a trip to South America or Antarctica
