Okay people When you get a website app recommended by a broadband company what do you think you are testing I have been having loads of issues with my provider and today I am having very little limited service and as I come to speedtest it tells me I am getting over 100mbps how can it be that my provider is not giving me the internet speed I am paying for But it still reads as overly great in the website app To all of you complaining saying that the negative reviews are BS please just be grateful you have good internet and to those who think they can rely on website apps like this please don t I am here writing this review so you know that what has happen to other people is also happening to me This is a scam hence the low rating

Never seen fake site like this showing speed 50 Mbps and not even opening single web page Checked with google speed test and show 0 Mbps at the same time this happened many times and service provider always show this site for speed specially airtel network service provider

Just had same person on claiming to be from bt broadband Unfortunately for this scammer I know that bt use btwholesale for testing Avoid at all costs Similar gentleman as previously described

Website and App can t even agree

I called my company because of slow internet and they told me to go to speedtest and download the app to test my speed since Websites often can t tell how fast you really can go often given you a lower number On the website I had like 700 mbpsOn the app I had 150 mbpsBut the website often given you a lower number 3 The app MIGHT be more legit but the website is full of lies

Blatantly trying to scam

Random Indian call center claimed to be from TalkTalk and that they were trying to check my internet speed issues I am not with TalkTalk and the speed check was good but I wanted to see what I could get from them They first get you to use TalkTalk s valid site then they want you to visit www dot speedtest dot net which I now think is actually okay However they will try and get you to install some screen share type program or offer you a refund i e Get you to give them your account details After stringing them along for a while they realised I was not going to fool for it and swore at me for wasting their time which I think means I won

The male caller in India was very abusive

The male caller in India was very abusive After refusing from us to visit www dot speedtest dot net the caller laughed and said I want to fuc your wife Then they called us three times again early this morning We are very disappointed that the UK government allows that to happen

Absolute scammers

Absolute scammers claimed to be from BT asked me to go to this website and run a speedtest Went along with it but ran the speedtest through google I advised them I have 48 mbps upload and 98 mbps download speed and I was being told that was a fast internet connection The supervisor came on the phone and said that my internet was TOO FAST and this would be dangerous for smaller devices such as mobiles as it would overload their circuits Ha ha ha ha never heard such drivel in all my life
