Splitty is a SCAM rip off
May 6 and 7 we had booked a DOUBLE with Splitty at the Super 8 in Belgrade MT DOUBLE was on our voucher When we arrived it was a single bed room We called Splitty customer service to cancel or upgrade that room so we could get a double They said they would have to take it to the Team and get back to us They talked to the desk person on my phone and told Super 8 they only allowed a single bed They did not contact us and put us on hold when we tried to contact them We never got a change or contact for two nights SCAM

Splitty is a SCAM
I registered with Splitty for a DOUBLE and Splitty ordered Super 8 to allow for a SINGLE bed Splitty would not upgrade to a DOUBLE or cancel reservation so I or Super 8 could obtain a Double My husband has severe dementia and he was agitated all weekend Splitty customer service said they needed to take it to the Team but never tried to change the room to a Double after numerous attempts in calling Splitty customer service and being put on hold They tried to blame Super 8 - it was Splitty who indicated to Super 8 that I should have a SINGLE room TERRIBLE customer service Rip OFF

Deliberate Theft of Service
This complaint is in regard to business to the business practices of this company which amount to straight-up theft The company provides services similar to that of Expedia in that they act as a third party to facilitate travel bookings I recently used them to book a room at a hotel however when I contacted the hotel to confirm the booking I was told that they hold no reservation in my name I have contacted them multiple times to no avail What is concerning is that after researching this company s reviews on sites like Trustpilot and the BBB I have come to find out that this practice is the norm and not the exception The company refuses to refund the funds nor provide the service that they were paid to deliver In the US credit card policies protect consumers from these types of predators however in foreign countries it is much more difficult if not impossible for consumers to have their money returned essentially providing companies like this a license to defraud with impunity I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN DEFRAUDED BY THIS COMPANY TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE CONNECTICUT ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE

They booked me at a hotel that no longer exists during Spring Training When I arrived at the property I called Splitty They told me they would investigate and call me back Instead they sent me a cancellation email If this doesn t qualify for fraud I don t know what does

This is a massive scam
This is a massive scam Don t even consider using them We booked a room several months in advance and even contacted the hotel right after booking to be sure it had gone through They said it had However when we showed up we were told the room was overbooked by Splitty and there was no room for us We had to scramble to find another room in a small town with a huge event going on We were able to at great cost But trying to get in contact with Splitty to work out a refund Ha They won t answer their phones This will have to go to a credit card dispute unfortunately Just don t even think about using this company

Do not use Splitty
Do not use Splitty to book you room You will regret it if you do Their customer service is awful The company could have provided me assistance very easily but would not provide help If you are ever able to speak with someone on the phone you will speak with someone who speaks broken English My experience was very bad with Splitty and they will never see my business again

I used splitty to make a hotel
I used splitty to make a hotel reservation and even purchased insurance for my trip After I made my reservation I noticed that I selected the wrong date for my stay Instead of the 16th I selected the 17th This isn t usually a problem so I called them to change the day to the 16th and told me they would be unable to make the change Even though I called them within 5 minutes of making the reservation and even purchased insurance for my stay they did not make the change I would not recommend using this company because they are not flexible and or reasonable with regards to reservations If you ever run into any issues with your reservations this is not the company you will want on your side I would highly encourage you to use another website

Not trust worthy reservation
Do not book through this website as they don t pass the right contact information to the hotel as our email and phone was incorrect That made us 2 hours waiting for check in super slow staff at The Oakes hotel niagara falls and after that only were told that this 3rd party website has overbooked us so they have to shifted us to a different hotel Their reservation is not a real reservation even though it was non refundable
