Awful experience Will never comeback
I went to M nckebergstra e 18 20095 Hamburg store to buy running shoes After I paid and was leaving the store got stopped by 2 security guards employees by the store who accused me to have stolen T-shirts They were not friendly aggressive awful After looking at my bag and my receipts they could see that they made a mistake they did not even excused themselves I WILL NEVER comeback in that store and brand

Skate sharpening no no no
I brought my daughter brand new skates to get sharpened there and they wrecked her blades I now have to get her brand new skates which she did not need DO NOT GET YOUR SKATES SHARPENED THERE

I cannot recommend this company A few reasons 1 Customer Service Their customer service is unhelpful and restrained by their awful customer policy Their replies are inhumane and condescending 2 Shipment policy They only ship with Hermes And if Hermes decides to not deliver your product - it will be shipped back to Sportscheck without prior notification and consent 3 No reshipment policy in case of delivery failure if somehow Hermes fails to deliver the product and it s shipped back to the sender there s no way you re getting the same product again You have to wait for them to refund your money and order the product again - which rarely stays available by the time you have the money 4 If you don t receive the product it s your fault they won t admit guilt and compensate for their Hermes failure If you don t receive the product it s either you re not at home or your neighbor refused it it s never their fault 5 My experience I ordered a Jack and Jones winter jacket from them this Black Friday It s one of my favorite design and it finally went on sale you can guess how excited I was about getting it I was supposed to receive this jacket by Hermes on November 29th I waited the whole day for the delivery guy and kept refreshing Hermes tracking page every 30 min It never came The next days were the weekend so I had no expectations of receiving it before Monday On Monday Hermes webpage has a new update they re sending the item back to SportScheck No delivery was attempted or nothing - just like that I contacted SportScheck customer service via email right away Now the customer service tells me they will refund the money and they can t do redelivery The product has already gone up in price and the size I ordered is no longer available The customer manager even told me to wait for the jacket to appear if it does They will NOT do a reshipment So I am not getting the jacket any time soon Black Friday is over and the other places that had the jacket no longer have it or the discount Pardon my french but Hermes and SportScheck have f d me over Out of frustration I told the customer service that I will never do business with them and they can delete my account They agreed to delete my account right away - rather tone-deaf of them about customer s emotions 6 My last point They don t care if they lose you as a customer It says a lot about their business and people who run it I know many of you have good experiences with them But I wrote this essay today because I felt hopeless It may be silly to go to this extent for a damn jacket It s not only about the jacket though but it s also about being respected as a customer and as a fellow human being I won t be buying from them again It was my first purchase

I tried to order Leki poles from the shop They have implemented very strange ordering and payment process You fill in your address then you choose the payment by credit card However you still do not know how much costs delivery so the final price including delivery is the first surprise After confirmation of the payment you are redirected to the last step confirmation of order I m still wondering what is this step about Anyway in this step after confirmation of payment I found out that they deliver goods only on German addresses so shop forced me to fill in German address Of course I do not have any German address What s a Christmas surprise Why you do not ask customer to fill in delivery address before payment as 99 9 of eshops do Now I have to spend hours by getting money back Very bad design I m disappointed

HORRIBLE Customer Service
I have given a call to the customer service this morning to ask if I could switch the size of the pair of shoes I had ordered seeing as the order has not shipped yet As soon as I have said hello and politely asked if he spoke in english He proceeded to hang up on my face without even speaking a word Every single one of the many calls I made subsequently was ignored I guess they have filtered out my number All of that because I dared to ask if he spoke another language He could have at least said no because as it turns he would have found out that I do speak a little bit of German The emails I wrote have yet to be answered as well Needless to say that I am extremely disappointed with the horrible customer service Especially since my request was not particularly complicated either Edit They eventually answered just to tell me that their system was oddly not working today and to call back the next day except next day was Sunday Anyways I eventually called Monday just to hear from them that the order had already been shipped two days ago They processed it RIGHT after my call That is INSANE All that so I order another one and lose money in the return process How dishonest and money grabbing can you be Literally SO gross

Used to like it now I am an ex-customer
For many years I would pop into a Sportscheck shop in Germany when I was over which was once or twice a year on average Since moving permanently to Germany I decided to finally open a customer account thinking I would continue shopping there I had realised the deterioration - in terms of value for money items - for some time but was so far still within ok-ish limits for me In the last 12 or so months I did not find anything bar 1 item that fitted my needs and in many cases the choice of sizes available was so limited that it became ludicrous This week I found items that i wanted and were available online to purchase in my sizes when going through the whole online purchase procedure I was told at the last bit that they are not able to fulfil my order or similar wording which made no sense A contact to the customer service ended with being told I should use the phone Strangely enough if I had wanted to phone I wuld have done that but hey I made one last attempt to buy online only to end up with the same crap in the end So I told SportScheck they can close my account as I will not ever attempt to buy from them again I am used to bad customer service in Germany However I find it utterly kafkaesque that the recently newly appointed CEO intend to increase the online business ludicrous doesnt come close

Badminton racquet restring - be careful using this service
I took an older but good quality badminton racquet to be restrung When it was returned it was bent out of shape and the stringing not taut enough to play with No explanation and no offer to refund my money I was offered a discount on a inferior racquet You wreck my racquet and think I want to buy a replacement from you

Professional spammers
Professional spammers I bought once from them and now I am spammed via mail physical direct marketing they are sending me ads to my mailbox pretty much every month without my consent and clearly violating GDPR I wrote them twice to opt-out and to ask them to delete my data and they just ignore the request Not worthwhile buying from then and then having your data abused without your consent

Not willing to help
I placed my order on the 12th January choosing to place my order as a guest with the sum of my order coming to 83 euro I received no email confirmation of my order once the transaction had gone through my bank account I left it a few days and still no confirmation email I tried to register an account to see if my email address would match up with my order but to no avail I sent an email inquiring about my order to only get an email saying that it did not exist I replied that the money for the order had been debited from my bank account and I was meant with the same response from SportScheck It has been nearly two weeks since the order was placed and still no sign of either the order or the 83 euro I paid being refunded SportScheck s customer service has been seen to be lacking rude and ultimately not concerned to help me out with this issue
