This Insurance company refusing the help in anyway that they can
I m gonna write down the last email that I sended to this company that says everything about what happened and yet this insurance company refused to help Insurance companies must make you feel safe but not this one Don t waste your money on them Between 01 10 2022 23 50 and 02 10 2022 01 00 while I was walking on Skalitzerstr 43 10997 a person was in the street he had a cigarette in his mouth and a beer in his hand He started walking towards me He jumped towards me 3 times in total Each time I jumped backwards away from him but in the end I had nowhere go and I was backed up against a wall This person had physical contact with me against my will and I was in an extremely frightening state At that time my phone was in my leather jacket pocket I was in shock and frightened My phone was stolen by this person while he was assaulting me I had already been touched 3 times against my will by this person when he took the phone I went to the police station to report the incident Unfortunately the police officer I saw did not speak English and I don t know German either Although I did report the incident with all details as I have explained here being unable to understand each other caused a problem with the reporting The incomplete information you received from the police and the fact that the police did not inform you of the IMEI number even though I gave them the IMEI number on the 1st visit is the shortcoming of the police The fact that they updated the statement with all the information it contains acknowledges their own mistakes with the initial statement reporting This update is not a valid reason to deny my insurance claim After the e-mail I received from you I went to the Police Station once again and spoke with an officer who can speak English and I made sure that the report was updated correctly and completely In this way the trouble with the police report was gone In the last phone call I had with one of your employees I learned that the person I spoke with when reporting the incident didn t record the information correctly There was a note that I said it was taken from my jeans but I told your representative my phone was in the pocket of my leather jacket The pants I was wearing were not even jeans It is reasonable to assume there could be other inaccuracies in how it was reported on your side meanwhile you are claiming this is entirely my error Please listen to the call logs again My question do you really consider as a pickpocket situation when a homeless person high drunk looks like he has nothing to lose also dangerous jumping on me 3 times assaulting me during I try to stay away from him It s not that a person took my phone from my pocket just passing by me and I don t realize it No need for phone number because some of your employees ending the calls without saying nothing Also there is no answer to my email that I just wrote here

Unethical if not downright illegal
Was sold Applecare in store when buying a new iPhone Only when I got home and activated my device did I find out this was an insurance policy from squaretrade a partner company of Saturn MediaMarkt Applecare is a registered trademark by Apple and Saturn uses the same name to sell their insurance policy to unsuspecting customers This is completely unethical if not downright illegal as it infringes on Apples trademark They also advertise on their website Applecare squaretrade insurance using Apples logo also another deceptive practice if not illegal and trademark infringement

I paid 150 for the insurance and when I needed to repair my dispaly I had to pay other 40 In Berlin you can change your display for 60 80 my bad I didn t read the conditions Anyway it took 10 days to let me know that my smartphone wasn t repairable although it was working perfectly when I sent it and had only a crack on the dispaly Moreover thwy even didn t have the same phone to offer me I instead two different phone offered One absolutely not comparable with mine inferior value the second one was acceptable and I had to take it if I didn t want to wait who know how longer to have a phone again AND if I didn t want to accept the offer I had to name three technical reasons why I wouldn t accept The customer care was friendly but I find the service in general unacceptable for what I paid

Awful Insurance
I paid for the insurance for over a year before trying to file a claim It was an utterly awful process with them telling me multiple times to send them information that I had sent them before and after weeks of trying to get help when I finally got my account sorted I couldnt even access the account and they couldnt help me to figure it out In this process the phone fully broke and left me without a phone and I finally decided to just buy a new phone because it was such a hassle to try and file a claim After months of attempting and emailing back and forth many times I still couldnt even get into my account

Everything with Squaretrade was absolutly top But theire chosen carrier UPS was a katastrophy 12h from Spain too germany Wuppertal was top but then UPS needed four days to deliver inside Wuppertal

Honestly I expected a much longer and awfully annoying process but I was soooo wrong My phone hit the concrete when I slipped on my way to work and looking at it was so painful because the glass was broken and when I tried to use it there were white stripes all over the display I called the customer service number and was glad that they were very professional and friendly I wasn t able to let someone pick it up from home and chose to bring it to the UPS Shop I sent it away on friday noon and got it back on tuesday morning It looks brand new and honestly I m very thankful and happy that everything turned out like that I really wasn t in the mood for a complicated process and not having my phone for a week or two but I wasn t expecting the whole process to be this quick and easy Thank you Square Trade
