Truly rubbish app and web site As with many others this gets one star cause I can t give it zero stars They sit on cash and don t pay you back for weeks but then delete your valid debit card details for no discernible reason and refuse payment for a kids food bus No idea why schools use this bag of pants when there are simple debit card options available

Trying to contact this company is like trying to find a black box in a dark room at night during a power cut no reply to my email mail in nearly two weeks and no other way to contact them Hopefully they can be shamed into contact by this awful review

Awful company not refunding my money
Awful company my school stopped using the catering firm who used Squid with one days notice before term started I had already uploaded money to the account as soon as I found out that the new provider wasn t using squid I asked for a refund and been totally ignored I ve sent two support requests and an email and no response

Apparently it has gone to finance was being processed today nothing yet If my money actually materialises you will hear it here first Until then I m going to continue to give this company a one star rating For not replying for ages and then repeatedly making and breaking promises they have no intention of keeping

I was asked to update my card payments
I was asked to update my card payments as it had expired I followed all their instructions but kept getting an error message saying something has gone wrong followed by a code I am unable to click on tabs such as settings to update my card details and it just chucks me out with the same message I am 2 days away from missing payment deadlines and frustrated as Squid are slow at responding I don t know what else to do and can t top up my daughter s account or purchase things I have tried on numerous devices but are still unable to top up or change card details

Same as other reviews zero stars
Constant problems with the squid card at school and last week suddenly the squid website stopped showing my son s account Noone replies to the contact form messages or direct emails On the other hand they didn t have any problem taking some money from my bank account I had set the auto top up even with the account not showing up anywhere and the school writing down the food cost on paper as the card won t work

An awful untrustworthy company My school decided not to use them anymore and switch to a new provider Squid closed my account leaving me no way to reclaim my money They gave no warning of this no email and no automatic refund on account closure When I finally got through to them they told there would be a 10 admin charge in order to provide my refund Disgusting thieving and absolutely outrageous service THEY ARE UNREGULATED BY ANY FINANCIAL SERVICE CONDUCT AUTHORITY DO NOT USE

They take money and don t communicate
The company kept taking money from my daughters lunch account I emailed them several times The school emailed them several times No one replied After a month I noticed her account had been resolved but still no communication Then a week later an email saying case is closed The worst customer care I ve ever experienced

Money stealing
Firstly impossible to communicate with Hide behind apparent T Cs which are just their excuse to charge unassuming parents who were forced to use their services in the first place Phantom charges to my child s account with money being taken And when questioned through the customer service Blamed the school and the school were completely unaware of how the system worked or how to check transactions due to squid being in control Now owe me money but want to charge me 10 to give me my money back Where as they owe me just shy of 30 Preying on the working class and financially challenged

Terrible service
Terrible service I cannot login the system so I tried password reset forgot username but unfortunately no email had arrived my inbox junk box No direct contact number is available on the website Now my son cannot but school meal In this kind of service I believe it is essential to provide contact telephone number so that problems have been solved without delay Missing school lunch is terrible for children Please send password reset link ASAP
