Catch the bus
I have driven some bad cars but the Turismo has to be the worst I suspect the steering is connected to the wheels with bits of rope It will seat 7 people just feel sorry for the poor sod that has to drive it Good points the seats and cup holdersBad points everything drives like a tank and the radio might as well have an eight track on it It s not a nice looking thing either It drives and looks like a North Korean troop carrier

The worst customer support I think I
The worst customer support I think I have ever experienced We purchased a used Korado 6 months ago which still had the balance of the manufacturers warranty On 22nd December the gearbox failed and it was recovered to the local dealership Since then nothing but fob offs Yes we have had Christmas in the way but in over 2 weeks nothing has been done It is a straight warranty issue yet the warranty department are now saying they want to send out an engineer assessor to warrant the cost What is the point of offering a warranty if you are not happy with the cost your own dealership charges for works to fix the faults I have this afternoon called to make a complaint - you have to put it in writing Customer Services claim they do not know the number for head office and will get a Regional Manager to call me but not guarantee when that will be - all the time I am still without my car - and for some time by the looks of it To top it off - no courtesy cars available Once this is sorted I will of course be happy to finish the story and if satisfactory to comment as such

Worst car i have ever Bought
Worst car i have ever Bought Korando 2 2le diesel 22tIf you want trouble buy one of these We have had no end of trouble with this car we had to wait weeks for a delivery We bought this car last september 2020 and it has been in the garage for repairs more than we have had it at home The dealer has been absolutely fantastic in sorting the problems out BUT the car has only done 5 000 miles and the Lambar probe has gone what s the chances of that happening The part is not available in this country and nobody can give me a delivery date So the car is just sitting outside the house doing nothing So my advice is do not buy one of these Shame on you Ssangyong

WORST WARRANTY SERVICE IN THE UK
Where to start I have for some 10 years supported the Ssangyong brand firstly because the Rodius could carry my two large dogs and two kids with relative ease but thereafter the story is one of woe and more woe Also I live in the North West of Scotland and before that on one of the HebrIdean islands The bought as new Rodius was effectively written off after only 8 years it was riddled with faults from the first day three new air conditioning units multiple tracking problems with the four wheel drive system - literally eating tyres every 3000 miles electric seat faults rust problems brake calliper problems all four twice brake and disc replacement every 20 000 miles foot operated parking brake jamming on numerous times the list was endless and the cost astronomical Throughout this there was NO local dealer so on top of the down time was 100 00s of travel to the nearest dealer cost who were all pretty dire of which the worst was the Ssangyong dealer near Aberdeen more on this later Ssangyong GB were truly awful to deal with back then and unfortunately are just as bad now However in 2017 we saw the new Ssangyong Rexton ULTIMATE with its new design and very misleading claims in regard to a 7 year warranty and we bought not one but three throughout the family these were bought from the Plymouth dealer who are the only good Ssangyong dealer in the country as far as I can tell and we have spoke to a few about service and warranty support but again the woefully poor warranty service from Ssangyong GB was evident from day one These are brand new 40K cars with a seven year warranty so you would expect some kind of reliability NOT A CHANCE The cars are 2019 on a 68 2019 on a 69 and 2020 on 20 plate and every single one of them has had faults ranging from ABS module failure to Urea system failure Both stop you driving the car to the nearest dealer which is 160 miles away camera failure Gear box clicking AC discharging every six months and most worrying the finish on the 20 inch wheels on both cars peeling off All the cars have done very low miles mainly as were scared to drive them in case they break down again The other problem is the time it takes to get anything done months for a warranty decision peeling wheels and weeks for parts almost everything a warranty repair needs and a truly AWFUL Ssangyong GB customer support and service process which seems to just ignore the problem Lastly and to my shame we bought the Rodius replacement a low mileage 66 plate Turismo ELX what a nightmare same caliper and foot brake problems same disc and brake problems even worse air conditioning problems this time it took 9 weeks to fix and even then the Aberdeen dealer didn t fix it correctly it had to go down to Plymouth- all at my cost Of course no compensation from Ssangyong GB intermittent cruise control fault failed rear springs after only 35 000 miles front drive shaft sensors failing another few weeks off the road Air conditioning that needs recharging every six months and so on and so on endlessly In conclusion I think Ssangyong GB are useless the vehicles are middle of the road at best in terms or reliability these are no Toyota or Honda and the dealer network after 10 years is no better at all and although a number of Mitsubishi dealers are now bailing into the brand as Mitsubishi have pulled out of Europe the Ssangyong GB service will still be awful and the new dealers will have little technical experience of the brand so expect weeks of delays in getting any warranty work done Ssangyong failed in Korea for a reason they re not great cars just average-at best and the distributor in the UK seems to be raking in profit from cutting down the spec of UK cars delaying any and all speedy warranty repairs AND CONSTANTLY REDUCING THE WARRANTY COVER ON GOING and the dealers are mainly all smallish lacking in support loan vehicles for the sheer volume of warranty problems with the brand cars Plymouth accepted and sometimes cannot take in warranty work for weeks or even months I worked out that the Ssangyong products we have will spend about 6 -12 months off road waiting for warranty repairs during the warranty period I asked Ssangyong to buy these vehicles back via their face book page needless to say they simply removed the post and did not contact me FINAL ADVICE UNLESS THE SSANGYONG DEALER IS 10-15 MILES OR LESS FROM YOU AND THEY CAN LOAN YOU A CAR WHILEST YOUR SSANGYONG IS OFF THE ROAD OFTEN AND FOR WEEKS OR MONTHS THEN DO NOT BUY

Bought my Tivoli from Lynx Garage in
Bought my Tivoli from Lynx Garage in Yeovil When my car developed a problem that I told them about 9 months later they had still failed to mend the problem after several attempts under warranty Having got fed up I put my vehicle into a local garage to have the problem diagnosed within 5 minutes and sorted within 20 Upon ringing Ssangyong I was advised that they had been told the car problem had been sorted Was so happy with the vehicle itself but this sort of service prevented me from buying another one and we went else where

NEVER EVER buy a Ssangyong
NEVER EVER buy a Ssangyong We have a Ssangyong Turismo top of the range model always serviced by Ssangyong to keep it within the 5 year warranty Recently the tyre pressure sensor came on took it to our local Dealer and they diagnosed that there was water ingress into the tyre pressure model They refused to do it under warranty and on complaining to Ssangyong GB they said to contact the warranty company but they had not got any contact details Absolute scam you do not get a proper warranty with these cars
