A joke of gym
I have trained many years in gyms and never more with STC They let risk groups down during this pandemic they didn t give them specific hours to be able to train safe a month ago they established a limit of people inside the gyms but nobody cares about checking how many are training If you phone them to complain they simply say it is not their responsibility to check what is going on with people inside their gyms Yes they don t take responsibility for anything that happens inside their gyms so if you have a problem you are alone If you visit a STC gym in these corona times you will see people training in groups talking hours in the phone not keeping the distance not cleaning the machines after using them zero masks zero safety A total joke Nevermore I won t catch corona there that s for sure

Signed up for the premium membership
Signed up for the premium membership thinking i was gonna be able to go to group training to then find out the group classes are only available in one of the gyms This was not advertised Tried to downsize my membership because of this but they were unresponsive Total crap Would not recommend

Oct 26 2023SNEAKILY increasing one s monthly subscription fee and withdrawing from one s bank account without CLEARLY notifying the customer in question is NOT ON When STC took over the tiny Puls och Tr ning gym I had been a member at for years I was reassured the fee would NOT change Transparency is ALWAYS the BEST company policy STC withdrew from my bank account WITHOUT my consent That is theft Surely I can t be the only one this has happened to Update I received a reply from STC on FB where they stated they have the right to increase the fees and attached a ink This was my reply back STC Hi Just because something is legal doesn t mean it s correct My agreement was with Puls och tr ning When STC took over I called specifically to check the agreement would not change and was assured it would NOT So who is going to check unless it is made VERY clear the terms and conditions woujd change Your newsletters come often usually in my inbox and are about health topics etc The newsletter in question did not highlight the membership price increase in a clear enough way as evidenced by many other members who find themselves in my position Not only but the cancellation notice time is 2 months right So anyone who noticed the fee increase and decided they would quit the subscription was still stuck to pay the whole 2 months They should have been at least allowed to cancel immediately We can discuss at infinitum on this matter and I m done thank you This is a question of moral values and correctness - something we obviously differ on All the best FxI m just fed up of companies taking the p ss out of their customers and getting away with it These are difficult times on all levels and companies need to be fully cognizant and sensitive to this One good thing I have now got a top fan badge

I took membership in the club next door
I took membership in the club next door to where I live and it is STC At the beginning practical but then my card stopped working and my logging in the gym as well Even though all seems good when I check myMembership on ine In any other gym you sort it out by talking to the reception or calling support But not here There is no reception The support does not answer to emails And the phone support is only open 2 half days per week And when you are finally calling in the super limited support hours they simply do not answer and put annanswering machine instead SO BAD

Terrible services traumatising
Terrible services traumatising I joined the gym in Knivsta through my Company scheme which pays for a year throughout Then I received a Kivra message from Collecta saying I had missed my monthly payments I called StC office without success then after a week was luck to see one of their staff at the gym she told me I was supposed to pay to Collecta and would extend my subscription with one month I declined that and she said the problem had been solved On weekend I couldnt enter the gym my card was saying terminated I was very angry with this terrible service

The client service is awful
The client service is awful never get replies but they are quick to charge you I had an issue with some payments and I never got help with it until I gave up Now it s been 2 weeks with an issue with the app I haven t been able to enter the gyms cause it says theres a technical issue with it and they still haven t helped me Stay away from STC not worth the money and pain

Unfair contract from STC
We signed a 12-month contract with STC in January 2022 Unfortunately I had to stop going to the gym in June or July 2022 I m not sure We didn t ask to cancel the contract since we signed for 12 months The payment was made through Bankgiro and a few days ago I noticed that the amount is still being charged to this day We contacted the gym to cancel and try to get back the amount of almost 24 months paid for without using it and they said they wouldn t refund it and they even charged 2 months for the cancellation I never received a notification saying that the contract was being automatically renewed I never received a notification that the amount was being readjusted Our mistake was the carelessness with Bankgiro but we would like to get back this amount of more than 8 000 Swedish kronor

Crowded and dirty gym
Used to train at Puls and Tr ning that was sold to STC Now the gym as turned into a very crowded gym apparently many more people have access to this gym The cleaning is not enough and many times very dirty and nothing to clean with When you give feedback you get a very patronizing answer which I think reflect that they really don t care about the members It is more important to maximize revenue
