I ve tried managing an account for my teen at the several banks I am with None of them offered protection overdrawn funds that my 16 year old racked up Step saved the day and gave me firm teaching tools by not allowing my teens spending to cost more than he had in his account A great help and a tool that finally helps me teach my son to work first earn and spend what you have Thanks for the solutions that the big guys couldn t or wouldn t provide Kristopher

I had the step card for 2 years and I turned 18 recently I used the credit reporting feature and got a 767 credit score Got accepted for VERY high credit limits on established credit cards That s not the only good thing the 15 referrals they used to have oh Nothing but love for this company as they ve helped me so much

Step is the BEST mobile banking app for people rebuilding credit or want to keep good credit I originally got step almost two years ago when I started working I set up direct deposit so all my paychecks would go directly into my step account Over the course of about two year I would use my step card to pay little recurring payments and I would use my step card to buy myself things here and there Now that about two years has gone by I have finally turned 18 which mean my credit score is finally available when I checked my credit score was 738 My step card has set me up for success I got pre approved for a car loan approved for my own apartment and even pre approved for a personal loan If it wasn t for step I would just be starting to build credit because of step I am where I am today and I couldn t be more happy

I am a first time user for the STEP app and I absolutely love how aesthetically pleasing the website is Great customer service that is very fast and friendly Would highly recommend for anyone to use

Hello my name is Hana and I have been using Step for the last year and I recently turned 18 back in September and I was finally able to see my credit score and it s 727 I was kind of shocked to see how good it was I have had no problems with Step whatsoever and it has been a pleasant experience banking with Step Your parents can set weekly allowances and such and it is super easy to use If you are a teen I recommend you sign up for this bank and build good credit Having a high credit score will help you in the future

Honestly Look no further

I discovered Step approximately 3 years ago read the terms and conditions as well as what the Step banking for teens accounts had to offer for my children I haven t always demonstrated healthy money management practices Starting off with the fact that I had no credit add to that the fact that my father told me he was leaving me to oversee his estate when the time came only to change the beneficiary unbeknownst to me before he died I paid his funeral using all of the 15 000 allotment for his policy signed the mandatory documents stating if there were any discrepancy I would take responsibility I only agreed because I had no idea he had changed the beneficiary and hadn t told me Needless to say I had to file bankruptcy at the age of 19 20ish years of age As time went by I began the task of trying to improve my credit and here is where I came across Step It was really a no brainer and the thing that sold me hook line and sinker was that this account would not only improve my credit score Most importantly if I keep this account as well as my children s accounts in good standing It could improve my children s credit health and educate my children on the more successful money management skills so that they could make better financial goals and progress in making my children more financially stable It is my opinion that there isn t a better program out there if you re concerned with teaching your children the things they need for a successful financial future All that great stuff aside The customer service representatives are knowledgeable about the processes and procedures that make up step and are always more than happy to help when there is a problem Mostly helping me to understand in ways that make sense to me I will be a lifetime member and so will both my children I am positive Thank you Step for being so awesome Keep up the excellent work Trina Duke family

Step gives us piece of mind that we can quickly help in emergencies

My son is away in Boston for a month long summer program and Step was instrumental in us getting him immediate cash to handle a mini emergency Knowing he has Step has given us piece of mind that we can support him even from the opposite side of the country

Card replacement

Son had issues with charges on card that could not had been him We have contacted STEP to change both virtual and physical card and STEP responded immediately and had new card on way same day
