The Stitch Community is an awesome group of people of similar ages with a whole range of interests When going to an event I meet up with friends and also meet others for the first time The energy and commitment of organisers leads to a variety of events which quickly fill my social calendar

I was suddenly alone isolated

As someone who was alone isolated after a divorce I was desperate to find community I started googling and found stitch It has made a true difference in my life It gave me something to look forward to I haven t met anyone physically yet but I ve met some very friendly people on zoom playing Yahtzee Boggle Farkle I ve also done guided meditation Finally someone to pay boardgames with I found my peeps

Stitch is a wonderful place for people over 50 to meet share experiences and participate in activities both virtual and in person I met so many people across the USA and around the world that I otherwise would not have and the community is welcoming and friendly I highly recommend joining it if you re an older adult

Watching an excellent live performance of Oliver was a great way of spending a Saturday afternoon with other Stitch members Stitch encourages its members to get out of the house and join in with the many events which are hosted by its members Everyone should play a part even if it is through attending as many events as possible It is also reassuring that Stitch has a good security system whereby new members are screened and communication between members is done through the Stitch system

Stitch has turned my life around and given me a new lease of life I have always been an active person but suffered with depression from time to time Now I m so busy with various events and making new friends I haven t experienced depression for sometime I now realise that I needed the benefit of a community to fulfil my lifeThanks Andrew Stitchch is amazing
