Independence on wheels

I was non- weight bearing on my broken ankle for 6 weeks and was in despair as the crutches made my wrists hurt and the loss of independence was devastating StrideOn was recommended by a friend and I can honestly say it was the best thing ever I could get to the shops make myself food and drinks whilst alone at home and get around much more easily Sue and Paul were great in answering any questions I had and the delivery and collection was easy I can t recommend StrideOn enough to anyone who has an ankle or foot injury and needs to stay off it for a few weeks

Flawless service knee walker godsend

My knee walker was a godsend as life on crutches meant I couldn t even get myself a glass of water - the the use of crutches was antagonising a nerve in my arm The walker arrived by courier the next day with a label on it explaining I may take time to answer the door I could unpack and assemble it easily Once I needed to return the item it was easy to repack and to arrange the courier to pick it up from my doorstep It was a flawless service

STRIDEON KNEE SCOOTER

I very rarely post on review sites but felt I had to for people struggling with crutches This knee scooter was an absolutely life and sanity saver I was given crutches and a zimmer frame out of hospital after foot surgery I could not use crutches and the simmer required hopping which when you have not hopped for millennia was not going to happen I ordered the Strideon knee scooter A game changer so easy to order and so so easy to use Every foot surgery consultant hospital should give a leaflet advising of this amazing contraption

The Scooter was a life saver

This piece of kit was a life saver after having an operation on my foot It gave me independence and was actually fun to ride on smooth surfaces I would seriously recommend to anyone who is non weight bearing or if you just don t get on with crutches and you want to go out with family and friends or use in doors I did both The basket enables you to carry out simple chores The company have been fabulous to deal with and enable you to extend the hire if needed

Invaluable for the second time

This is the second time I have rented a Strideon following foot surgery on both feet It has been invaluable Giving me independence and confidence to get about I feel much more stable than with crutches The basket on the front allows you to have both hands free and I purchased the extra soft padded cover as I was using it for 9 weeks appreciated the extra comfort I cannot recommend the Strideon highly enough and would definitely use again if needing further surgery

I have worked as a plaster technician

I have worked as a plaster technician and in orthopaedics for the last 20 years and have seen many people have to deal with mobility problems after lower limb procedures Crutches and frames they find hard work with stability there hands wrists and shoulders So when I had to have ankle fusion at the young age of 62 having suggested to many of my patients to use a stideon I d better try one I live on my own and I was told I had to be none weight bearing for at least 6 weeks I phoned Strideon who were very helpful ordered arranged delivery all with great ease My Strideon arrived the day before my op I set it up with very easy instruction even had a lovely basket on the front for easy carrying of small items it was very sturdy and strong After the op used the strideon what a game changer I felt safe moving around I had freedom no bambi on ice with crutches no shoulder strain my family felt safe leaving me on my own and I had my independence Strideon sent me an email when rental time was due which I extended with ease as I needed When I no longer needed it I emailed sStrideon team cleaned and packed it up ready for collection which again was hassle free I would strongly recommend the Strideon

Could not have managed without my StrideOn knee scooter

Following major foot surgery I was under Drs orders to keep my whole leg non-weight bearing for at least 6 weeks The full enormity of that limitation only struck me when I got home I had to hop everywhere with two crutches - no free hands Quickly searching the internet I found the StrideOn knee scooter and took out a hire arrangement The scooter was easy enough for my young son to assemble and meant I could free up my hands to prepare food and regain some independence The simple break on the handle bars meant I felt secure when completing tasks when propped against work surfaces I was even able to take the scooter in a taxi to a follow up hospital appointment It was so useful that I extended the period of hire past my initial 6 week period Can t recommend it enough

Makes life so much easier

My orthomate knee scooter was brilliant This was my second ankle surgery requiring non weight bearing for 6 weeks and I really wished I d had one for the first surgery It makes life so much easier Stride On customer service was excellent too Would definitely recommend

What a great company

Following a full ankle replacement op I hired a StrideOn as I had to be non weight bearing for 6 weeks At the hospital I first tried the StrideOn and it was wonderful - so much easier than hopping with crutches or a zimmer The company really look after you are very quick at responding to queries and delivery was speedy Fantastic product and company
