Do not use them
Paid for 12 month subscription only received 6 months on one magazine Paid for 12 months via Tescoclubcard and received email saying it was for 6 months Cannot get through on phone and they do not reply to emailsWITHIN AN HOUR OF ME POSTING THIS REVIEW I RECEIVED AN EMAIL TO SAY THEY HAD RECTIFIED THEIR MISTAKE However my previous subscription issue has not been resolved

Hearst Direct Debit
Following on from my previous review and complaint to our bank regarding Hearst taking money without our prior knowledge and basically Hearst breaking the DD rules our bank have now made a full refund and I hope claim the funds back from Hearst Our DD is now cancelled Anyone having the same problem with Hearst should contact their bank They shouldn t just be allowed to get away with it

What a useless company
What a useless company Website fails when you try and renew a subscription Calls take an age to answer no matter when you call they are always experiencing high level of customer calls When you do finally get through the staff are not helpful suggesting you call back because they can t transfer your call This is the 21st century for goodness sake If my subscription wasn t a gift for someone living abroad I WOULD DEFINITELY CANCEL

Everything about this set up is dodgy After being promised a Good Housekeeping magazine and free book and endless emails chasing it there is nothing forthcoming since September it is now December I ve been asked numerous times to confirm delivery details which I did but still nothing Futile feeble excuses eg not received magazine due to an embargo yet supermarket shelves full of the very self same magazines I don t think I will ever see the said magazine nor my money again KEEP WELL AWAY To think I nearly bought for the whole family makes by blood run cold

Shady business practices and false promises
I bought a 6 month subscription for my sister which they promised would not be extended without my approval 9 months later they automatically withdrew money from my account without a warning and the amount was twice as high as i paid for the initial subscription They refused to answer my emails for a month untill i reversed the payment through my bank After which they still demanded money because they send 1 magazine already Shady business practices and terrible service I wish i gifted something else to my sister

Don t be fooled by the ads They will stop your magazines and make it difficult for you to get a refund
I purchased a 6 month subscription to Good Housekeeping for my wife We only received 2 magazines We contacted them by email and were informed our postman had returned the magazine undelivered so they had frozen the account They never bothered to contact me despite me having registered online and they had my address phone and email They tried to resolve the problem by reinstating the order and charging another 9 99 subscription fee I told them where to stick their magazine Direct debit cancelled with bank They haven t refunded the first subscription So take my advice and avoid Hearst Magazines

Pitiful - subscribe at your peril
Do not subscribe - despite contacting Hearst to cancel before receiving the last issue of the publication on the day the issue before the last in the subscription arrived you will be auto renewed the funds for the next wave of publications will be taken from your account and you will not be able to get a refund Their customer service is pitiful You will get the same or even a better deal and won t need to be locked in to a direct debit here magazine co uk or isubscribe co uk

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE - I bought as a gift for somebody was supposed to be a 1 off payment but it went to auto renew They wouldn t give me my money back but now 6 months later they have taken money from me again despite me cancelling it the cancel process is long winded and difficult - and apparently doesn t actually cancel it anyway - what a nightmare Horrible company complete rip off don t get stuck into their cycle

Terrible service
Terrible non existent customer service After 2 years of successful subscription to the Good Housekeeping digital edition it has suddenly stopped Emails to Hearst Magazines are not answered and when I phoned them all they could say was just be patient I gave up and have cancelled my direct debit with my bank having read other reviews that they will continue to take the money Whatever you do don t subscribe
