Substack has had plenty of feedback Trustpilot and I ve just provided a posting to your call for new year 2024 solicitations Plus 10-12 email exchanges with your so-called support team So how much more feedback do you need I don t think your relentless pressure for paid subscriptions is panning out Writers just want a self-evident easy-to-use platform And by the way I don t need promptings from Substack about how to write a useful review -- I just need an easy to use site People are providing you with useful business information but you re not listening

F Substack I had a newsletter which I had spent weeks building up But when I tried to change the email address it disappeared from my account and I never got any notification about the new one I ve completely lost all access to my newsletter I m utterly distraught There is no public forum and the Customer Service NEVER responds to emails I cannot describe how much I hate Substack Try Beehiiv or other solutions instead rather than let these guys throw all of your hard work in the toilet

Got account banned for sending 1 message

Got account banned in less than 1 month No details and appeal reply was We reviewed and decided to keep you banned Again no details All content is mine and the only other thing I did was to send a private message to someone I already know to check my new publication

Extremely dodgy practice of stealing

Extremely dodgy practice of stealing emails My email has been used to subscribe to their web pages Never heard of them the more reviews I read the same is happening to many others they even have a section directly highlighting this in their privacy terms so it s clearly a problem So not only are they breaching privacy laws and stealing your information like scammers you can t trust their stats and reviews as they re most likely fake I wouldn t go near this site being associated with scamming email lists and false information speaks for itself

Wish I could give a 0 stars review I set up a perfectly nice substack to help people really It was randomly blocked by substack I appealed and got an email saying we ve determined that your publication is in violation of Substack s Content Guidelines and will not be reactivated No explanation no ability to discuss appeal just rubbish Wont even give me my subscriber list

Zionist propaganda without an account

I never even created an account and suddenly my email is full of their Zionist propaganda The page acknowledge that there s NO account with my email and still I get their Listening to the Sirens blog even after unsubscribing Hate it

Like a virus in all the bad ways

No matter how many times I unsubscribe no matter how many filters I create to auto delete their emails they find away to put their junk in my inbox It s like cancerous tumors that just won t stop spreading And it is by design They hide or don t even offer subscribe from all because retaining as much newsletter subscribers is core of their business model but if you force people to stay obviously the numbers are worth very little because half of subscribers have mentally checked out a long time ago Very shady practice I m a very kind and giving person but I truly - from the bottom of my heart - hope your business model fails horribly

Unethical Unaccountable Fraudulent

I paused all payments for my newsletter and disabled all payment notifications Behind my back Substack enabled all payments and enabled all notifications sending reminders to re-subscribe after I had ceased to write newsletters When I received notification I logged into my dashboard only to find my payment section grayed-out with an error message I was locked out of my own payment dashboard with no control over my own newsletter That Substack would do this behind my back and then lock me out of my payments reeks of 100 unethical unserious and unprofessional company Furthermore my professionalism has been compromised by appearing as if I continue to ask for money even though not providing any product I demanded they refund subscriptions fees To add insult to injury Substack KEPT THEIR 10 FEE Substack has stolen money from me Couldn t delete my newsletter fast enough

Substack censors in sneaky ways

I have a screengrab but cannot see how to attach it The comment was deleted by substack The original writer even liked and replied But that did not matter to the Overlords and Censor running substack Substack also uses bots to Like like Twittr 1 0 to fool commenters There are also many fake stacker accounts that had Notes from years ago in unrelated areas suddenly commenting in hot current news stacks
