To Whom it May Concern My daughter and I were patrons of your establishment celebrating my daughter s birthday This was the first birthday since she experienced grief and loss and I wanted it to be special Upon arrival at 2 00 pm the hostess informed us our table was not ready She invited us to wait at the bar and would tell us when our table was ready We had a drink at the bar and my daughter was happy to be able to partake in this experience Our drinks came to a total of 56 84 that was for only two drinks 56 84 for mediocre drinks We waited and waited for the hostess to call us to our table It was 2 30 and no call It was 2 40 no call finally at 2 45 I asked my daughter to go downstairs as I have physical limitations with stairs at the moment and inquire of the hostess when our table would be ready The hostess replied that it has been ready yet no one came upstairs to let us know as we were told they would We sat down and looked at the menu not only was the menu limited but it was also way overpriced The clams while tasty were miniscule at best We had to ask several times for some tap water Our waiter never came to ask us if everything was okay and again the prices were way overpriced for the quality and the quantity of the food The clientele was obnoxious with the person sitting behind my daughter yelling over the balcony to people down below and the people sitting next to us young adults who apparently thought being wealthy was a good excuse for being obnoxious used foul language and berated the young girls they were with when those young women went to the bathroom saying that they were unsophisticated and didn t get it The man behind my daughter went to switch seats with someone at his table and had no problem leaning his behind on the back of my daughter s head trying to squeeze out of his seat so his wife could have the balcony seat and yell down to people below no class and no decorum not to mention social skills As if this was not bad enough both my daughter and I had stomach upsets the next day I had extreme nausea that woke me up and stomach pain as well as diarrhea in the wee hours of the morning and she had diarrhea the next day The only thing we ate which was the same that day were the clams the miniscule overpriced clams I spent 56 84 on drinks and 128 20 on our meal I have in the past on a few occasions called establishments commending a customer service representative that went above and beyond being helpful and it takes a lot for me to pen a letter saying I was disappointed I take pride in commending those who are helpful Saying I was disappointed in this case is a huge understatement We would never recommend your establishment to anyone and depending on your response would be inclined to forewarn others We wanted to express our unfortunate experience from top to bottom on this which was supposed to be a memorable occasion Sincerely Very unhappy customers
