Really Bad Company
The advice in the store in M nster was really very good but unfortunately the installation and after-sales service was a disaster 6 weeks ago the bed was delivered but incorrectly and incompletely assembled The result was damage to the frame and fabric We were then promised repair and a price reduction but after several phone calls and e-mails nothing has happened until today Unfortunately we have to make an effort with our legal protection insurance now It s a pity that for SwissSense the customer doesn t play a role after the purchase contract is signed

Swiss Sense - Bed Bugs in Topper Part III
Hello I bought a showroom model boxspring bed from the Essen store in December 2021 The bed was delivered on the 10th December and up until two weeks ago I was in love with my new bed and topper About a week ago I started to get bites all over my body my daughter also slept in the bed that weekend and was also covered in bites We counted 60 incredibly itchy bites on our body that weekend I never imagined it could be the bed thinking that it might be small midgy bites possibly from house plants or from an open window I bought something for the plants put nets on the windows and to be on the safe side a net over the bed That didn t help I was still getting bites I was starting to suspect the bed I stripped everything and put it all in the washing machine on Steam I then inspected the bed with a magnifying glass To my horror I found a dead adult and one that has been feeding but dead also I am furious that I was sold a bed that had bed bugs and has now been introduced to my house It was a demonstration model in their store so bugs could have been easily transfered from one demonstration bed to another by a customer or brought in by an unsuspecting customer Either way I m furious Im now sleeping in my daughters bed working from her room I live in a loft apartment and the bed is in a large room where I m worried the bugs are spreading I ve flagged this with Swiss Sense but it seems no one is in a hurry to address this I want action NOW When you spend 3K Euro on a bed you don t expect to be ignored and left with this terrible mess I don t want this spreading to the rest of the furniture I m very disappointed with Swiss Sense right now Legal recourse is on the table

Frustrating and fraudulent behaviour in guarantee liability issues
This is an update to my previous mail Well it started positive but has since gone downhill fast I contacted Swiss Sense almost three weeks ago to explain that both my daughter and I were covered in bites I was able to forward video and photo s to show that indeed the topper was infested Several days later I was pleased to be informed that the bed would be taken away and that a new one would be ordered 14 weeks delivery In the meantime a temporary bed would be delivered great Wrong It s now exactly 2 weeks since the bed was taken and I still don t have a bed I was informed via mail that the bed would be delivered KW8 now it s expected KW10 I ve wrote countless mails but most go ignored I ve also asked on a number of occasions what will happen to my duvets pillows and throws that we re on the infested bed I ve sprayed them and wrapped in plastic bags Do they expect me to put them on the new bed Either take them away and get them dry cleaned or give me a budget to replace them Why does Swiss Sense ignore these repeated requests This was your mistake not mine I called on Friday last week to confirm delivery I was told that the bed was at the Essen store for me to pick up I would have to pay for delivery if I wanted it Unbelievable I refused to pay for delivery I was then called back to be told the bed would be delivered KW10 It s exhausting to make any progress with Swiss Sense My life has been turned upside down in the last three weeks Its blatantly obvious Swiss Sense don t care enough about valued customers No doubt I ll receive a generic response suggesting that my case is being handled If that was the case then Swiss sense you would have done it by now

Very bad service
After almost 3 weeks without a bed I received today what can only be described as a filthy camp bed I was promised yes promised by two Swiss Sense employees in writing and in person that I would get a NEW bed with a NEW topper I was even asked in the Essen store to choose 1 of 3 beds that could be ordered as a temporary bed Today I m truly lost for words If I could only upload pictures because words don t do justice The two second hand mattresses are filthy and what s worse the topper has yellow stains and hairs It s covered in small black bits which I don t want to think about This is not what you d expect from any bed company The fact that I ve been treated this way from Swiss Sense is truly sobering and shocking Given my experience why would Swiss Sense think this would be a suitable solution I want this bed out of my apartment today As usual I ve called both the Essen store and their general number but I ve had no response I have had nothing but stress in dealing with Swiss Sense They promise one thing but then do something completely different I now have a filthy bed in my place that cannot and will not be used After the massive clean-up regarding the bed bugs this is the last thing I want in my home Shame on you Swiss Sense for making matters much worse Please don t believe the response from Swiss Sense to this mail They will no doubt defend their actions but I m sorry this pantomime has gone on for too long To send a filthy yellow stained bed to someone who has just been infested with bed bugs through one of their beds is plain irresponsible

Oh yes This company can do ever worse
Update Do not be fooled by this shop trying to reply to reviews - they have been promising to look into the matter the entire duration of time My question and open challenge to the shop Can you give a deadline for you to deliver your replacement product and can you hold yourself to your deadline I highly doubt your intention I bought a bed in December 2022 from the shop s D sseldorf branch and had it delivered in January 2023 to my new home Since then it has been a nightmare to get them to rectify the defects which fall under the European guarantee liability The bed is a box spring bed Home 105 with a topper Gazelle Breeze The topper is unfortunately oversized and hangs over the mattress of the bed on both sides by a significant amount At first the shop did not believe me and after many rounds a back and forth and gaslighting and plainly denying responsibility they sent an independent evaluator whose report came down on my side and confirmed the defect Since then the company has promised to replace the topper but still have not managed to deliver it - promising one week after another to deliver I have tried to tell the call-center agents nicely of the company s responsibilities and liabilities and threatened to take legal action but nothing has changed so far Instead they tried to offer me a 150 Euro cashback on a 350 Euro topper In my opinion this kind of fraudulent behaviour leaves a bitter taste in the mouth for the customer and I cannot recommend this shop to anyone I plan to write one last round of emails to the management of the company before taking legal action

From worse to really bad
Very bad service My bed was delivered around three months after the order and when arrived the fabric on the headboard was torn The delivery person created a claim on the same date and he told me that the company would contact me for replacement After 4 weeks waiting for a response I have contacted them today and they came back with an offer of returning money to me to accept the headboard as it is otherwise I will have to wait for 12-16 weeks until I have it replaced When I asked them to subtract the 4 weeks I have already been waiting they said that this is not possible because the claim is was made today When I asked for a return and refund my option was to lose around 1500 euros So this is a company that only cares as far as they sell something I believe this company is interested until they make the sale after that they avoid any responsibility by treating customers in an unacceptable manner

Oh yes This company can do ever worse In their response they imply that I was upset with the discount they offered me If possible please point out to me where exactly in my review I have mentioned that Furthermore please answer to me why my claim is not valid since the day it was made and you were supposed to contact me with details and it is valid since the day I managed to contact you on the phone for an update on my claim Also another question The headboard is already in production as you said Really you need 16 weeks to produce a Headboard I believe that besides your customer service you should also improve your production methods And Finally Can you please confirm that the Headboard will be exactly the same colour as the rest of the bed when it will arrive According to your colleague who delivered the defective bed it might be that the headboard is of different colour and then the rest of the bed upholstery should be also changed Finally to anybody reading this post please make yourself a favour and thing twice before trusting Swiss Sense especially in Germany According to Swiss Sense in Netherlands service is better if you buy from the Netherlands

Really bad service
This company continues finding excuses for everything they messed up Sometimes it is really helpful to admit your mistakes This can make you become better They have been answering to my reviews always avoiding to answer to my questions 1 Why did my claim not started on the date it was made by your delivery colleague and instead it started 4 weeks later when I called you for an update on the claim According to your colleague there was nothing I should do besides wait for the delivery of the new headboard 2 Why does a headboard needs 16 weeks to be replaced especially when it is your own fault that you haven t been able to deliver what you have promised and been paid to deliver Generally as a warning to prospect buyers my experience with this store is really bad Besides the awful service the quality of the delivered product is also bad Consider another option before buying and if it is really necessary to buy from this store consider the option of buying it from a store in The Netherlands According to the sales people in Netherlands their service is faster and of better quality than the one provided by the same company in Germany and it also offers more options
