I ve recently signed up with Swytch as my UK phone company has instigated a new clause in their contract stating that I can t use their services overseas for more than two months This is unacceptable as I am an expat but still have business interests in the UK and need a UK number After a fair amount of research I chose Swytch The signing-up process was simple and only took a few moments Once the account was open I emailed the support team about porting my existing number The porting was all done via emails that were extremely clear on what was needed from me and how the support team would proceed The whole process took a few days for me as there was a slight problem with either my iPhone or my non-UK provider but Simon at support was extremely knowledgeable helpful and patient with me as we worked through the issue and eventually got everything sorted out and working Thank you once again for your expertise and I m now a very happy customer

Really helpful customer service from Simon to port my existing UK number to Swytch I m now paying 1 6 of what I was paying Vodafone for my plan As an expat this gives me peace of mind to be able to keep my UK number and keep in touch with my UK contacts without changing my number especially helpful for when I eventually move back to the UK

Good service and great customer service

I have been using Swytch since relocating to France from the UK I mainly use the service for professional calls incoming and outgoing and wanted to keep my old UK number So far the service has been on the whole very good The customer service I had when setting up the account was exceptionally good all my queries were answered comprehensively and very quickly So top marks for the customer service

Now I can use my UK number in the USA

I was struggling to find a way to keep my UK number when I moved to the USA without paying huge roaming fees and call costs every month Swytch was the solution Moving my number over to the WiFi calling service was eased with the help of the excellent customer service So I now still have my UK number that I can use for WiFi calling texts for a very reasonable monthly fee

First of all what an excellent business to have set up It was a huge relief for me and my wife both British expats living abroad to have found Swytch because we were worrying for months about our UK phones paying too much delivery of new sims etc Swytch solved this issue for us but what truly stood out about them was their impeccable communication and customer service amazing response times super friendly and thorough emails answering all of our questions alaying any doubts and explaining all the details Before moving to swytch we had lost access to our UK mobile numbers because the company had sent out new sim cards to an old address and are living abroad But within a few days we had our old numbers working through Swytch and at a fraction of the cost No sims needed Couldn t recommend them more

Excellent tech support to port in old UK number

Having read the other reviews I felt happy to use this company to set up a UK number and port my old number from EE as I have emigrated to the US Having an UK number and especially having my old number out here makes receiving all the text validation codes from various companies I use much simpler Also it means any contacts from the UK can still get hold of me via Swytch I understood that the process of porting the old number into switch would take a little time Seimon and then John from tech support walk me through the steps by E-mail They were responsive helpful and gave me workarounds if any of the steps didn t work The whole process took awhile but that was down to me contacting EE but not receiving the PAC number first time So be prepared that it might take awhile but I highly recommend Swytch as once it s set up you don t need to worry about a UK mobile phone provider withdrawing service or charging high roaming costs I kept my EE number going until the port was completed Many thanks for excellent service

Gold standard customer service

I must say the customer service is gold standard We relocated to US from UK and needed to keep our Uk number We hit technical problems with the accounts and Simon from customer service was on it kept us up to date and resolved all the issues in the end Great communication and very responsive The service is very affordable too compared to roaming fees our UK provider charge us with This is not a bike company
