Replaced twice still faulty AVOID

Replaced a water damaged floor with a Tarkett engineered oak product as it was recommended by the contractor as a high quality product Within days the light grey painted colour layer began to come off in small patches The contractor came and looked and accepted that it was a fault and he got in touch with Tarkett UK Many many painful conversations later Tarkett eventually agreed to replace the floor without admitting fault having tried to blame me for everything from wobbly soled trainers the dog the wrong type of cooking oil an incorrect floor cleaning solution with the exact same part number as their own recommended product The second floor which was batch tested at the factory to guarantee there wouldn t be a reoccurrence you guessed it exact same issue within days of fitting Cue many weeks of even more painful calls escalation to the CEO in France and eventually after an inspection at my home by a team from the factory in Poland a full refund but no admission of fault just friendly advice not to replace with the same product because although its recommended for heavy domestic use and kitchens it shouldn t be used in kitchens an off the record word of advice from the factory team All in all dreadful product HARD work if anything does go wrong and if you re reading this considering the product for any application I d read a few more reviews and take note of the overall star rating which at the time of writing must be one of the worst on Trustpilot

Tarkett flooring For starters the contractor who sold us

For starters the contractor who sold us the flooring hasn t returned to fit it Tarkett should make sure they do a trade check on the people that allow to supply it Not only this we have been overcharged for it Yesterday a reputable company a wooden floor expert came to our home and told us the Tarkett flooring which is currently lay stacked in my office- is awful stuff won t last five minutes and will easily scratch Don t buy Tarkett flooring be watchful of who is actually supplying the flooring I would hate what happened to us to happen to anybody else I live in Harrogate

Don t buy

Purchased tarkett vinyl plank flooring 5 years ago I loved it when I first installed it It was beautiful But I quickly learned it s downfalls Yes it is dent resistant when you drop something heavy on it but scratches at the simplist things just pushing my empty laundry basket across the floor scratched it All under the dining room chairs is scratched and yes I have chair pads on my chairs 4 years after installing the original floor we put an addition onto our house and purchased more of the same flooring However we quickly learned that they had changed the width of the planks in that time frame but not the sku So although we purchased the same product the product had changed and it does have a slightly different glossy finish on it When laid down side by side you can see the difference and the pieces don t snap together quite right We called Tarkett and asked if there was anything they could do for us Possibly get us some of the older style product as they did not disclose that it had changed over the years They basically told us to rub rock salt So we had thousands of dollars in a floor that doesn t match quite right Our contractor was amazing and made the best out of a bad situation and pieced the floor together hiding the imperfections the best he could Now a year later the floor planks are shrinking and there are small gaps in between the planks My advice to you do not buy Tarkett They don t stand by their product and it isn t that great to begin with especially for the price you pay to have luxary flooring

Poor quality stay away

Expensive and poor quality 1 year old and scratch and dented in most planks we will need to replace in the next year We have felt pads on our furniture Should have gone for Karndean

Quality and color matching is substandard

Quality is terrible and colors between multiple bundles didn t match I d avoid at all cost

I bought flooring labelled R10 but found it not to be

I bought flooring supposedly R10 - ie resistant to slipping but it was MORE slippy underfoot than a cheaper brand I d lived with for 10 years I now have to wear trainers to walk in my bathroom and cover the floor with non-slip bathmats if I take a shower I did not have to do this previously

very good wooden floors super desing with good price im waiting about 2weeks but its normal will be order next time too
