I had booked a taxi to Schiphol airport

I had booked a taxi to Schiphol airport at 3 55 a m At 3 45 or so I get the message that the driver is on the way with contact number of the driver And thereafter nothing I called the driver no response whatsoever I call the call center just to be put on hold as they figure out how to sort this out In the end they give a ridiculous reason long story short I booked an uber at around 4 40 a m just to arrive 1 hour later than planned to the airport

early morning September 7 the taxi ride was ordered a couple of days in advance was confirmed and paid but it did not show up in a first telephone call they said the driver would contact me within 5 minutes did not happen called again and this time they told me the taxi would not come at all now I am trying to get my money back well actually the amount i had to pay to the taxi we had to take from the taxi stand at schiphol slow reaction they need to investigate no apologies yet either

Opportunity for huge improvements

I am writing this review to offer Taxicentrale Schiphol an opportunity to improve their services in the future Here is what happened We booked a return trip from our home to Schiphol airport well in advance On the day of the travel the taxi did not show up at the agreed time I had to call them to find out that the taxi had a problem I was told to wait for 40 minutes so they could get the taxi to come or find an alternative vehicle But 30 minutes later they called to tell me that there will be no taxi at all and they are canceling the ride all together I was literally panicking We had a flight to catch and they didn t leave me much time to arrange for anything else We scrambled to get our own car ready to get everything in and hastily drove our way to the airport find an expensive parking slot closer to the terminal so we could make up the time to catch the flight We just made it While at the lounge I called the company again to complain To my astonishment the customer service told me to write them an email to get my money back They canceled the trip Anyway I did I got an email reply later explaining that the driver made a mistake in his planning and that I get my money back and a free future trip as a compensation There was no word about the extra costs I had made for the expensive parking I had to pay and no gesture for the mental stress we have suffered I am a Million Miler of a major airline and I have never seen such a bad service from a taxi company anywhere in the world period I hope Taxicentrale Schiphol will take this opportunity to review their rules of engagement with their drivers and towards their customers to prevent it from happening again Be warned fellows check and double check again if you book any service from this company

Good driver

We waited for about 15min at the entrynof schiphol but it got compensated by a friendly driver and we ll prepared The driver had children seats ready and was patient and calm Drove us safely back home under bad weather conditions
