So many ads on their website

The ads on their website and articles take up litterally half of the screen when on mobile Even though they have good and useful articles I m reading my articles somewhere else now Looks like making money from ads is more important than functionality

Somebody want to figure out how techradar installed cookies into my son s school issued chromebook that automatically allowed for MOTION SENSORS DEFAULT Javascript images pop-ups and redirects background sync sound and PAYMENT HANDLERS DEFAULT Or how they seem to have a whole bunch of YouTube videos when I googled them but I ve got ALL YouTube blocked from my son s device Or how they show as a British newspaper for tech but then on another site show as an American based company Forget the reviews saying they suck This review says they are DANGEROUS

Massively out of date site

A site which used to be one of the best for tech reviews is now completely useless I was looking for a wireless hard drive and their site came high in the google search The title Best wireless drives January 2023 external hard drives without the wires By Matt Hanson published November 28 2022 I expected up to date info The reviews are actually from between 2015 and 2018 and none of the drives are manufactured now A complete waste of time

In Amazons pocket

Biased superficial and technically inaccurate untrustworthy reporting If they used to have any credibility it has now been well and truly compromised Many of their writers are known in the industry as guns for hire - who produce negatively slanted or biased articles to manipulate public sentiment on behalf of the biggest names in the tech industry It doesn t take long to pick up on this overall technically inaccurate and negative editorial bias

I want to disable tracking in general on their site The legitimate interest is easy but the hundreds of advertising partners is not you have to scroll through them individually to turn them off Ermmm its a new era now protect your customers not try to screw them Don t use techradar until this is sorted I won t

Tech Radar not recommeding current models

Opened an article on the best Garmin deals and sales for August 2024 The Article was publish on the 1st AugustThe models they list are all archived products by Garmin None of them are current models For example the Forerunner 935 and Vivosmart were was launched in 2017 forerunner 645 in 2018 There are some that were launched in 2021 but these also have been replaced If they are going show products at least make sure they are not archived models that have been replaced multiple times Perhaps its because they get affiliated payments from Amazon in which case their is bias towards money and not giving the best advice price and products If you are looking for a deal on a current model the Epix Pro 47mm Gen 2 sapphire is available at AMJ Watches for 479 This is a current model normally over 800There I ve given better deal information that Tech Radar

Poor journalism in general Poorly researched product comparisons often missing features or even well known products Some titles are clickbaity Many pieces are just barely updated versions of pre-existing pieces And all this with a triple dose of ads

Worst reviews that these people give

I see reviews made by Tech Reader from the USA site and the UK site I m very sure they are missleading people about smartphones the people who review phone s must be getting back hander because I have seen phone s up 1000 1000 cheaper than they say they not look on AliExpress or banggood or kimovil com or Dhgate do not trust Tech Radar
