Deceptive advertising does not establish trust

I have received several mailings from Texana that are obviously meant to be deceptive and generate interaction through false appearances I would never consider using them if they want to initiate a business relationship with zero trust right off the bat

VA IRRRL Texana Bank

Texana bank approached me about doing a VA IRRRL We started the process but I found a better offer for the loan When I stated to Texana bank that I didn t wish to proceed with the loan they immediately began blowing up my phone and emailing me stating I had to discuss with them over the phone my intention to cancel and that I would have to speak to one of their managers as if I the Veteran had done something wrong They proceeded to keep trying to force me the Veteran to get on the phone with them End state I am not proceeding with Texana bank on a VA IRRRL now or ever and I recommend that no other Veterans work with them I requested the VA to begin an investigation into if they are performing predatory loan practices against Veterans

Fraudulent Mailings

Yes I had a negative experience with Nick Blancarte of Texana bank He s a mortgage broker connecting himself with Texana bank Be careful using them for anything Mortage related I ve already reported Texana to the FTC for fraud If you have any negative Mortage experience with this company please post here sharing your experience

Two more offers after asking them to case and desist

This is the third time they have mailed me a bogus offer The first time about a year ago I demanded that they cease and desist I also demanded that they hand over their source They claim they had a NDA We will see about that NDA when I show up in person to obtain the information They use deceptive advertising You know how they place the name of my bank in place of the return address Yup just like all the other predatory lenders do They don t offer a means to opt out They don t provide their license number The information in the letter they use to make it look official is inaccurate for example my present loan amount They also try to imply that the offer is somehow endorsed by the VA The VA requires disclosure of their license number but they don t even bother with that I doubt they are even legally licensed in my state My current interest rate is 2 25 fixed They are offering me 4 99-5 56 and a new payment that is more than 100 higher than my present payment The disclaimer on the back says that the new payment may include two points 6000 They say no origination fee but that is the least of the closing costs Gee what a deal not I feel sorry for anyone dumb enough to fall for that offer We presently have 200 000 equity in our home and have zero debt other than our home We are just four years from retirement Who do they think they are fooling

Stay away from this bank and dont do business with them They lie and will deceive you to sign a loan you never applied for My husband who is a veteran co-own a house and texana bank wanted my husband to sign the co-owner s loan and assured us that we are not gonna be the borrower But then we found out that texana bank filed the loan at city county and they listed our name as a borrower of the loan we never applied for This bank committed fraud

Oh this bank called me yesterday and wanted me to take down my review The guy James Marsh from texana bank lied to me and my husband who is a veteran James Marsh told us to sign for the loan that we never applied for They made us the borrower of my husband s co-owner s loan of which the bank failed to disclose It s a breach of contract and they know it I emailed their support to take the loan off our trust last week and never got a reply

Avoid Lies Bait and Switch

Avoid them unless you get stuck with them because of the Nurse Next Door program Thankfully they will sell your mortgage right away and you can move on However since you get stuck with them I m here to help Record everything They will facetime zoom with you Screenrecord or record all the audio They will lie to you Maria lied to us telling us all these great things and showing us how low our payments would be Yes interest rates change however that is not what changed Our PMI changed and our downpaymnt that was only 3 changed to at least 5 for that PMI that before was only 3 and lower Lies and deceit Record it all screenshot it all and prepare to show receipts to call them out on their lies

There are not many companies that call you by name when you walk in but at Texana Bank they always do I appreciate their help with our banking and mortgage services
