BALWIN SELLING USED APARTMENTS AS NEW

We purchased a two bedroom apartment from Balwin and we knew to be new as also on the contract Whilst living in the apartment there was a lot of issues with the premises and was moved to another apartment 1484 where i resided for 3 months Moved back and became aware that this apartment was sold and was in the process of transfer when the deal did not materialise The apartment was taken back and cleaned and sold as new to us This is highly unethical on the part of balwin and i checked with others and similar occured with them Balwin CEO was well aware of this but elected not to do anything I started investigating and uncovered that show apartments and apartments used by there employees are cleaned and sold as new I tried to get a response from Balwin but they refuse to assist or confirm or deny the allegations Balwin then cleaned up the loan unit 1484 that i lived in and sold to a unsuspecting person as new Did anyone else have a similar experience I am very upset since we bought i new apartment only to be sold a used apartment disguised as new

Terrible Stay

Booking was easy but couldn t access my keys because they kept on giving me codes that do not work Checking in was a nightmare The security guards before the beach and restaurant were not thoughtful nor mindful of myself and family Kept on telling us we cannot exit the beach barefoot we cannot keep snacks in our bags lastly we cannot bring inflatables into the lagoon area Also gaining access to the lagoon beach area we had to walk to the gate to get stamped only then could we be granted access Swimming would obviously wear the stamp off however one would assume the guards would take into account your wet bathing suits or just sandy feet and allow you to go in and out as you wish but that was not the case We had to revert to going back to the gate and get restamped The service at the restaurant was horrible even though a few good waitresses and manager tried it just wasn t cutting it This was mentally emotionally and financially draining I won t recommend this place to anyone who is faint hearted I had high hopes and unfortunately they were not met

The management of getting tags or stamp

The management of getting tags or stamp to go into the lagoon or swimming are being done unprofessional You have to collect a tag from the office everyday We have been standing in the queue since 9h00 this morning We still didn t get our tags I will not recommend this place at all

The best place ive ever been in Gouteng i raelly enjoyed myself there the place is very welcoming kids friendly the restaurant food is the best i wont mind living there the beach guys ijo the place me and my friend we call it a home away from home

From making the bookings assisted by Ontiretse and Karabo it was a breeze had an issue with the lock on the day of check in and they immediately sent a guy named Lindo to assist us I ve read bad reviews about the security at the gate but they were actually amazing and helpful as well Our room was beautiful and clean The whole place was breathtaking we enjoyed ourselves Didn t get to go to the restaurant however I plan to next tiime
