Fantastic trip to South America

We had a fantastic trip to South America When I was deciding who to go with Jeremy was far and away the most responsive and most communicative We had an outstanding itinerary and the guides drivers and vehicles in each of the countries were excellent We had a problem in Peru with the political instability there and they re-arranged the itinerary to ensure we were kept safe We were away for 5 weeks and travelled through Peru Bolivia Chile Argentina and to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu falls The local travel operators made sure arrangements went as planned and although we had a couple of minor issues they were quickly addressed and didn t detract from us having the trip of a lifetime

We travelled as a foursome to Sri Lanka in March 2017 The trip was originally for two of us but he adapted the plans when we added a second couple He arranged a fascinating trip for us including the more recently re-opened northern areas and national parks and a varied selection of small but always excellent hotels He listened carefully to our requirements and found us places to stay that he had personally vetted When we met him at a travel show he was full of good advice and gave us many insights into what to see and do He worked through a very capable local guide and personally intervened in and resolved a small scheduling issue that arose He was very keen to find out about our views and experiences of the trip afterwards We felt we had a high quality trip with no compromises at a very reasonable cost

20 wonderful days in Sri Lanka

Just back from 20 wonderful days in Sri Lanka All went as planned our driver Sameera made the trip extra special Sameera was safe informative and friendly The hotels small great food and service Travelled from beach to mountains to rain forest and wetlands many birds and animals We loved Sri Lanka sorry to leave Thanks to Aleem for help in the planning and Sameera for being such a good driver and guide

An amazing experience in an absolutely stunning country Excellent planning and communication from the team at Earth Trip from the initial contact and booking through to the end of the tour A perfect blend of itinerary and hotel accommodation with travel times between all locations taken into consideration Our guide Chanaka was amazing He ensured that each day was as relaxing as it was interesting and his infectious enthusiasm was matched only by his total commitment to ensure everything went without a hitch Would definitely use The Earth Trip again Congratulations to Aleem and the team for a 1st Class Service 10 10

Great service and in-depth knowledge of Madagacar

The Earth trip organised our visit taking into account exactly what we wanted from our trip and helping us to shape it to make the most of our time there They were happy to modify their original proposal when we asked them to do so and we felt entirely safe and secure all the time we were there They arranged for us to meet local people and some real characters of hoteliers and restauranteurs Their on-site representatives in Madagascar were able to handle the few problems of our own making whilst we were there We felt cared for but not wrapped in cotton wool i we would highly recommend the Earth Trip for a really memorable holiday

Perfect Sri Lankan holiday with Earth Trip

We were very impressed from our first meeting with Aleem of Earth Trip He went to a great deal of trouble to find out what we liked and incorporated this in his suggested itinerary for our Northern tour of the island The holiday could not have been better All the hotels were amazing and the many trips arranged for us were excellent We had half board as he recommended and three of the four hotels had extensive buffets The variety and extent of our visit took us to temples ancient ruins elephant safari blue whale watching snorkeling over the coral reef bird watching the train to Jaffna and much more - all with local guides arranged by the company and sorted out on the ground by our driver We will certainly be booking with Earth Trip again

Excellent trip well planned and well executed

We were put in touch with Earth Trip by Responsible Travel as we wanted to make sure much of what we spent on our holiday went to those in the country where we were going Aleem at Earth Trip was very patient with us as we changed our plans eventually coming up with an itinerary that suited us complete with car and driver to take us around the various parts of Sri Lanka In the event the driver Mangala was excellent making minor tweaks to the trip as we went along to ensure an even better experience We probably tried to do too much in the time available but there is so much to do and see in Sri Lanka and there is nothing we would take off the list with hindsight

Knowledgeable Polite and Helpful - what a dream

I booked my honeymoon to Sri Lanka and the Maldives through Earth Trip and such a great experience Aleem handled our trip and was really fantastic He knew so much about both places gave us such wonderful recommendations and put together a beautifully-crafted itinerary We had a fantastic time and were so surprised by the special touches he organized for us I will definitely book with Earth Trip again I actually even recommended them to most of my friends Lee

Family holiday of a lifetime

We had a brilliant 2 week family holiday in Sri Lanka over July August 2019 It was a great mix of wildlife beach R R walking in the mountains and seeing ancient sites The hotels were very well chosen for us - well located and several were small and unique in style We enjoyed various experiences such as visiting tea plantations a gem mine spice growing gardens and a local cooking experience We had a very good driver and guide who was extremely informative helpful and flexible - so we could decide if we wanted to stop for lunch or not how long we wanted to walk etc Having spent a bit of time while booking the holiday choosing what we wanted to do the holiday was very relaxing as everything had been taken care of and all we had to do was enjoy ourselves Everyone was also very friendly
