Recently met with the entire Fountayne team and what surprised me the most is their attention to detail when providing care for anyone who works with them Amazing group of humans The property managers seem to have a vast amount of experience which only installs confidence when working with them Highly recommend Once you work with them you ll never want to work with anyone else Again highly recommend

Change The Name - Do The Same Do not be taken in by this company They have rebranded from being called Fountayne Managing and two other companies which have been expelled from The Property Redress Scheme their own regulator after two separate complaints against them both upheld Check the list of expelled members from the PRS on line The only way they can trade and join either the PRS or ARMA is if they comply with the directions of the PRS which they have not Both bodies and trading standards are aware The 5 reviews are clearly false We had 6 months of utterly shocking treatment at the hands of the employees of this company many of whom have left or been sacked but many remain looking at our team Some of their own testimonials should be read with a vomit bag nearby if you have been unlucky enough to have suffered the stress and anxiety they create purporting to manage your building One of their previous employees blew the whistle on them as to their terrible treatment of leaseholders and tenants AVOID AVOID AVOID

This company are the scum of the earth They have routinely overcharged me charged me for things that don t exist you can t clean a carpet that isn t there and carried out Major Works without issuing a Section 20 They ve threatened me with legal action every single year and funnily enough have never gone through with it They are bullies and charlatans This is a rebrand of the former company so this is the second time I ve written a review about their frankly gang-like behaviour I can t imagine why they wanted to rebrand when their Google Reviews were all so positive oh wait How this company is allowed to trade is beyond me EDIT 5 months on - 2 8 23Nothing has changed In fact if anything they ve managed to get worse They are now routinely gaslighting me telling me they ve addressed my concerns without even mentioning the subject I m not sure if they are delusional or just pathological liars but it must be one of the two The major works were indeed carried out without a Section 20 and I was given the excuse that the works were extremely urgent In the same email there is evidence that the person suffering the leaks had to report the issue 6 SIX times With nowhere else to go they have now resorted to their bullying tactics by threatening legal action once more I am genuinely considering selling my property to get away from them

Do not work for this joke of a company

Carried out work on a property for this company in march It s now September and I m still trying to get my invoice paid Staff are very rude and unprofessional Charlotte who is the building manager ignores all emails and phone calls constant excuses that they are in meetings or anything to not talk to you Accounts make false promises that the invoice will be paid I m having to ring them everyday and I m sick of it Will be passing onto a debt agency

Expelled from the Property Ombudsman scheme

In April 2023 they were thrown out of the Property Ombudsman scheme From Letting Agent Today Fountayne Managing Ltd - The leaseholder terminated his agreement with the agent who was required to pass on all relevant documents to make the handover run smoothly The agent provided no audit trail of any documents being sent and frustrated the process by indicating that the freeholder was responsible for collecting the information which would only be available for sixty days before being destroyed Because the leaseholder received no formal set of accounts or other information requested the PRS awarded a refund of eight months management fees for the period of poor service The agent was also instructed to provide service charge statements that need to be verified by an accountant and to send the leaseholder a meaningful apology The leaseholder was signposted to the Property Tribunal for legal issues raised that were outside the PRS s authority Due to non-compliance with this decision and the link between the two businesses and their directors both this agent and Fountayne Residential Ltd were expelled They haven t changed one bit as my clients have found to their cost as Ive tried to extract information from themn on blocks transfered to our management

Charlatans

Charlatans They are a rebrand from the Fountayne Management expelled from the Property Redress Scheme and the new brand The Fountayne Group has their license suspended at the moment They MO is to send incorrect invoices not responding to queries and adding crazy late payment charges then have qualified bullies calling you for chasing Horrible indecent company If you find yourself at trouble with them please complain at The Property Redress I hope they lose their license again forever so no one can have the displeasure of dealing with them

Disappointing and unsafe

As a resident of Swilley Gardens this has caused nothing but problem after problem After changing their name from Fountayne Managing LTD which seems to have been liquidated nothing has improved The only decent employees Marcus and Chloe no longer seem to be working with us and as residents we are left with broken fire doors that do not close and intercom system that does not work and little to no response after multiple emails We have always paid our services charges but get very little back in the way of decent customer service or maintenance

Totally unresponsive

In the last few months Fountayne have become completely unresponsive They never answer the phone don t reply to answer phone messages and ignore all emails Services listed under our service charge are not performed cleaning of communal areas gutter clearing window cleaning but charged for anyway The only thing this company can guarantee you is accounting errors
