300 for a blocked sink

My tenant s sink was blocked ThePlumbers org came out to unblock it but said the leak was caused by a blockage on the system and the blockage needed to be removed cleaned with suitable industrial equipment Only our drainage specialist carries this equipment So I was charged 118 for the first 10 minute visit and a further 180 for the drainage specialist When I queried this they said they weren t told about the blockage on the system as opposed to the blocked sink which - in my opinion - would only be known by a plumber So if using this company be sure you know the exact problem including any underlying issues Or use a plumber who will bring tools to resolve more than one plumbing issue

The worse service imaginable All they think about is how they can taking your money Attitude is unhelpful and disrespectful and they have no conscience what so ever No one to complain to as it all comes from their boss The reviews on trust pilot are true Can t begin to explain how displeased and disappointed I am

Avoid this Dishonest and Incompetent Trader

The plumbers org did renovation work for a bathroom a shower room and a toilet installation of a new boiler and supposedly to bleed all the radiators in Jan 2024 Multiple DEFECTS occurred after they returned the house to me which included WATER LEAKS from every single wet room that they renovated 1ST LEAK was from in the basin in the shower room 2nd LEAK from the bathroom that flooded the ceiling underneath The builder Bradley returned and couldn t find the leak and my friend found the leak and repaired it for me instead 3rd LEAK was caused by residual water from the shower room as they cut the pipe during renovation which then they decided to cut a hole in the ceiling to investigate but they refused to take any responsibility for the damage they caused to the ceiling 4th LEAK was from a basin waste pipe in the toilet This shows absolute incompetence of the plumbers having caused multiple water leaks within 6 months of renovation Other defects included constant low boiler pressure caused by a faulty newly installed radiator and a leaking radiator valve in one of the existing radiators Exposed wires light and fan switches unacceptable wall damage unfinished ceiling light cracked tile and substandard silicone waterproof application Lastly due to careless of the builders they cracked the shower tray as they were replacing the shower door The builders needed to come out several times to sort out the defects which caused a severe delay to the project They even attempted to charge me for re-fitting and making good fees to repair their defects and overcharged me for a basin tap Exposed wires and cables in the wall was claimed as not included in the making good and they just left all the cables exposed in the wall Since the builders refused to take any responsibilities for all their wrong doings I lost patience and trust with the builders and I brought the case to the ombudsman I was na ve enough to think that showing the adjudicator photos of all the damage caused by the builders would bring me justice Unfortunately all I got compensated for was 220 for the hole they cut in the ceiling The builders never had to show evidence to disprove my complaints against them apart from blatantly lying and denying everything Photos as evidence were insufficient unless the builders were actually caught in the action of wrong doing which was simply impossible I chose The plumbers org merely based on the reviews on Checkatrade website and this became one of the most regretful decision I made I would strongly advise AGAINST hiring this company unless you have a genuine recommendation and that you have a good knowledge in plumbing to monitor the entire project The plumbers org caused so much damage to my house and caused me so much stress for ten months after they finished their renovation work After all I was being accused of unreasonable confusion defamation difficult etc when I filed that complaint against this company to the ombudsman They surely know how to bully a single woman Please look at the photos and you will understand all the mess the builders left me with Unfortunately only Google review allows uploading of photos please refer to the review posted on the Google for the photographic evidence This same review is posted on Google Trusted Pilot Checkatrade and Trusted Traders if this same review cannot be found in all those websites it suggests that the Trader can selectively delete negative reviews This proves that merely by looking at their good reviews is not reliable and that they are dishonest traders

The most dishonest company of plumbers ever encountered Simply incredible that these people are still allowed to operate Actually it is the boss himself who single-handedly runs the show His employees just do what they are told So if you have a complaint of any kind you can forget getting anywhere No surprise they changed the operation s name to erase the negative reviews only to amass a fresh set under the new identity Brings the saying to mind old dog new tricks If you do believe a word he says in his rebuttals to the negative reviews in here just be aware The minimum hourly charge is never applied He will see to it that a minimum of 250 309 is charged even for 30mins job His quotes are ludicrous But you loose either way since if he charges by the hour then the job will take forever and if it s a quote for the entire job you ll realise after it s done that it was a quick job and you were scammed Communication is atrocious Once you have an issue it will be very difficult to get a reply from him and you will be left in the dark They will create situations where you will be forced to engage them to resolve the very problems they themselves have created The attitude is far from helpful And you are always left feeling you are just another opportunity make as much money off of as possible When you feel you have been taken advantage of it may be too late to do anything about it Engage plumbers that are supportive and empathetic to the stress plumbing issues can cause people Chose those who seek to build customer relations and are worthy of being part of such an important profession who do not capitalise of your problems and are just after taking your money

why would I go any where else

Felt compelled to praise this company I have used them for over 10 years now Had a complete new shower room a new boiler and various other plumbing inconveniences such as burst pipes Boiler repair before new boiler was installed new thermostats on all radiators leaking taps etc etc Why would I go any where else

Quality finish very happy

Fred and the team was great had a new install for a boiler was very happy with the finish and pipes all hidden Great communication with the Plumbers org definitely recommend them to any one looking for a quality finish
