Amazing result

On the 1st of march 2013 I was stopped on my phone in Renfrew unfortunately I was already sitting on 9 points and faced a totting up ban for the 2nd time This would mean a minimum 12 month ban which would be a massive cost to my business as I would of had to employ someone to drive for me as well as been extremely inconvenient to my family life I had heard of Micheal Lyon solicitors a few times one of which was in a taxi in Glasgow one Saturday night when the taxi driver explained he had used them and highly recommended them I had used let s just say not very good lawyers in the past and hadn t been very successful hence the the 9 points after getting my license back clean after my first 6 month ban for totting up I contacted Micheal Lyon solicitors after receiving paperwork that my case was getting called at paisley court I had a couple of meetings with Martin black and we agreed we would just decide on the day what was the best option to take On the day of my trial 24th February 2015 I was met my Ronnie simson at first I was confused as I had only ever met with Martin but after chatting to Ronnie I was more than happy with him handing my case My trial didn t go ahead that day as after talking with Ronnie we decided the best option was to fight for exceptional hardship Ronnie got this granted and we returned on 25th march 2015 on the day I felt rather nervous but after chatting with Ronnie I felt great and had a feeling I was going in the court room to get a result even though he told me to look sad Haha My case didn t even go to hardship as we used another option and Ronnie managed to get me a 40 DAY BAN non recorded with dvla with no points getting added to my license I m so glad Ronnie handled my case as I could not of asked for a better result I wouldn t think twice of using Ronnie in the future and have already recommended the company to my friend who s using them next month Worth every penny and I can t stress enough you get what you pay for Don t waste your money with these lawyers that do a bit of everything go with the experts in road traffic Many thanks Ronnie I would like to say I ll not need you again but with my history I m sure I will Adam

I was wrongly charged with drink driving in 2014 I was reported leaved my car in a nearby hotel car park heavily intoxicated When I was later breathalysed by the Police I was 3 times over the limit and facing a lengthy ban which would have been a disaster for me and my family I had actually driven the car there earlier and was going back for my mobile phone I was given the details of the Road Traffic Lawyer from a close friend who spoke highly of them as they managed to prevent him from a definite ban for speeding From the outset they were very professional and as they only deal with driving offences are experts on the subject and know every legal loophole and law around it Although my case looked on paper a nice easy one Ronnie Simpson took no chances and thoroughly prepared my case this included providing a toxicology report which would later prove priceless His attention to detail was second to none and I knew I was going to be properly defended On the day of the trial it didn t going accordingly to plan due to one of the witnesses who had a grudge against me changing his story Ronnie managed to get the Trial adjourned to get a statement from another witness who hadn t been available on the day an excellent piece of work His performance at both trials was simple outstanding he managed to discredit the false evidence against me and provided the necessary doubt to get a Not Proven verdict He spent a huge amount of time preparing my case and this included providing the Sheriff with details of similar cases which strengthen my case and defence This ended up a very tickly and complex case and without his in-depth knowledge of the law the workings of the court and his huge ability I do not believe I would have been cleared I would not hesitate to recommend Ronnie and his firm to anyone who has a driving charge I doubt you will find a better lawyer and firm to defend you Ronnie is also such a nice guy and was in constant contact with me during the trials which provided me and my family comfort during this period

It was a recommendation that led me to contacting Michael Lyon after feeling unhappy with the solicitors I had originally discussed my case with My first meeting was with Martin who had a professional matter of fact manner He instilled confidence in the legal expertise within the team I elected to move I then met with Ronnie who has an empathetic yet focused approach in which I was thankful for as I was more than scared of the consequences of a guilty verdict I felt listened to and that was important to me as I had been charged with drink driving but arrested a couple of hours after the event A toxicologist report was prepared which demonstrated my integrity as it corroborated my version of events Ronnie had also prepared another second defence on the eve of the trial anxious as I was I felt comfortable confident I had a lawyer I trusted to do the right thing He had fought the fiscal on their request to ask the toxicologist to attend court at my cost which was expensive I would have gladly paid the fee but it gave me even more trust that he was fighting on my behalf - not just trying to generate fees for the firm I m almost disappointed I didn t get to see him in action on the day of the much adjourned trial But the relief I felt when he called at 5 30pm on the evening before to say the PF was no longer calling to court was the best result I could have hoped for I cannot thank you or the rest of the team enough It was a long 18 months I ve given a little detail away about my case to hopefully help others who face a similar predicimant to mine I cannot recommend this team highly enough - they are more expensive than competitors but you are paying for a high level of expertise a true client focus
