I m really pleased I joined TSOP

I m really pleased I joined TSOP I m an experienced photographer but I have never done basic training and I had a niggling feeling that I d missed out along the way which was sapping my confidence Doing the beginners course helped a lot with that as it filled in the gaps and reassured me that what I was doing was actually right I m now doing the studio lighting course which is right out of my comfort zone and I m beginning to get to grips with it I really like the teaching style Short videos mean that you absorb more from each one and it s great that I don t have to take notes

What year 2023 was

I would just like to say what a year for it was last year 2023 with TSOP I have been into photography a few years but did the beginners course happy I did so much I had forgotten and now doing other courses I would like to say a big thank you to Marc Newton for his comments on my photo in the frame within a frame assignment It really made me happy but also gave me the confidence to go out and do more with my camera Mark and the TSOP team also answers your questions if you get stuck on a course I would recommend TSOP to anyone with or without photography knowledge Great value for money

I have been on two face-to-face courses

I have been on two face-to-face courses now Lightroom and Photoshop and have also started an online course Marc is a great professional clearly on top of his subject approachable at all times and clear in his teaching He is patient when it takes you time to get the idea and full of praise when you do get it right It s a three-hour round trip for me to attend the sessions but it s well worth the effort Warmly recommended

TSOP - Fantastic Course and Group

My local photography group started for beginners folded so I was looking for a community where it covered all ranges and all walks of life I was thrilled when I found TSOP as it was exactly what I was looking for Not only did it cover the basics but it also covered some of the more advanced areas and also post production methods Lightroom Photoshop TSOPs Lightroom Photoshop courses gave me a head start on how to work in both which was light-years ahead of a similar course I tried last year at my local college I am looking forward to getting my teeth into some of the more advanced courses once I have had time to assimilate and inwardly digest the primer basic courses The price-point is spot on at less than 3 london pint s for the month s membership I especially like the acceptance and friendly critique provided by Marc in his monthly project setting reviews and of the community at large

I am loving the wildlife course

I am loving the wildlife course Andy s 14 minute vid on composition is just brilliant I ve learnt more from that video about good composition than I ve ever learnt before It is a must watch whether you like wildlife photography or not IMHO

Just wanted to drop a note to say how thoroughly pleased I was to have taken and completed your basic photography course I d previously purchased the e-book I m glad I supplemented the good material in that with the actual video content I ve watched all your free videos on YouTube and felt confident that your full course would be of the same high quality and I was not disappointed Thank you so much for all the effort you put into creating this course I feel much more confident behind the lens of my DSLR now and my photographs are already much improved Well done

The School of Photography is an absolutely amazing online photography course so much better than I thought it would be It covers the basics simply and then goes into more detail in certain areas I really can t rate it highly enough There is a Members group is a fab way to get feedback on your photos and also see what others are doing Each month there is a task last month was Street Photography which keeps everyone engaged and building a really good online community Marc s teaching skills are clear and simple in every day language He makes it so easy to understand tricky areas of photography and he is so normal If you are thinking about signing up go ahead you definitely won t regret it

Many thanks for the free Lightroom presets they are all installed and working I have already used two of them to good effect I had no problem with installing them in Lightroom the instructions were great I have three of your online courses Lightroom Photoshop and Studio Lighting and it is very obvious they are written with teaching the subject in mind I would thoroughly recommend your courses to anyone who wants to learn photography

Excellent course and community

I have thoroughly enjoyed the complete guide to photography course it s been so easy to understand and follow compared to other courses I had tried got lost in The tutorials are clear and the lesson downloads with the prompts on have been so helpful I can t wait to continue with the other courses Joining the membership has also helped with my confidence the group of members are so helpful and it s great to see others work and take on things All in all great value for money
