Billing department will steal hundreds of dollars from you

Absolutely terrible customer service Their billing structure allows for your credit card information to be linked to the wrong account if you and a partner choose to have a group session together They will link your credit card information to someone else s account SHARE that credit card information with that person and then fail to correct the billing issue and DOUBLE CHARGE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE INEPT

SCAM ARTISTSthese people prey on the weak minded patients by making them sign unreasonable 48 hour no cancellation contracts If you cancel your appointment for any reason before 48 hours of your appointment they bill you If you try to call the customer service they are trained to lead you in circles promising to you that they will ask management to forgive the cancellation fee of 135 00 but never do anything REPORT TO ATTORNEY GENERAL if they do this to you

Nasty unprofessional therapist

I found Danielle Frederickson LCSW on Psychology Today s therapist list Had a few sessions and thought she was capable if somewhat depressed A few sessions in she went on a rant accusing me of noxious things I d never said Then after the rant she told me that she was finished with me 15 minutes into the session Despite contacting her through Psychology Today she told me that she works for Thriveworks I tried to contact Thriveworks several times They gave me a case number but did not reply I am deeply upset about Ms Fredrickson s appalling hurtful unprofessional behavior

WARNING DO NOT USE

What we need to do is file a class action suit against Thrive Works Contact your state Attorney General file complaint for predatory business transactions Their portal is down for maintainence There is no area to cancel appointments When you email support it is ignored and they illegally go into your banking regardless File complaint with Consumer Protection Bureau Send copies of your calls email screenshot of failed portal Lastly let your insurance co know their illegal billing practices Humana referred my husband Scheisters put it mildly on these extreme lazy incompetant co

Terrible therapist terrible company

I told the therapist Dretha Burris that I have Complex PTSD In our 1st session she told me in detail about both of her adopted daughters major traumas I froze but had to stop her Afterwards I have had bad dreams from her re-traumatizing me She s obviously unprofessional and lacking in education I reached out several times to Thriveworks to complain NONE of their posted numbers allow patients to contact anyone directly or to leave messages I ve sent emails and tried contacting via their website - no replies at all

Great therapists terrible billing office

The therapists my family has worked with have been wonderful The Thriveworks billing department however are pretty awful We ve had frequent issues with them charging incorrect cards despite us asking them to update our payment method The staff at the billing center are generally pretty unhelpful unless you manage to speak to a supervisor They sound like they re trying but have very little power to actually solve problems I think they ve got some great therapists but they need to get the business side sorted out

Skip the middleman pay much less

Found multiple psychologists counselors that are listed as accepting Medicare and then are redirected to this website where the same exact people do not most likely because Medicare won t cover thriveworks My advice if you find someone that appeals to you Google them contact them privately and skip this total scam and pay less for same care

I wish I never used Thriveworks

I had never used counseling before using Thriveworks My first counselor would often go on 10-15 minute tangents about seemingly random things rather than talk through anything with me and I quickly began dreading my sessions Second counselor failed twice to set up recurring appointments leaving me at home from work at my computer with no appointment I then called and asked not to be seen anymore Since then I have been charged over 500 for missing appointments that were never scheduled and do not show on my appointment dashboard at all Billing and office are trying to hold me accountable I wish I never used Thriveworks to begin with

Counselor destroying our lives

My husbands counselor is literally destroying our marriage She is not supporting his mental health and is basically diagnosing me as the bad guy without knowing my side at all He has turned into a complete shell of himself since working with her She tells him Focus on your peace Will your marriage work Probably not You re either going to leave or you re going to stay and it won t go well Call a lawyer and say I want to divorce my wife Stop thinking about her and the step kids Those aren t your kids You didn t bring them into the world There s no way of knowing what was or isn t genuine Personality disorders are made My belief is its trauma or poor parenting It can be being spoiled You re not taught how to be self sufficient or how to deal with frustration or discipline The more you try to run they only know one way everyone gives me what I want With a full blown personality disorder it is trauma The impact is hurting you I think it s better to say nothing because she might use it against you You are not withholding affection you are creating boundary You are trying to protect yourself She also heard her mocking and laughing at me for having been married twice before and for using emojis in my text to my sister-in-law asking her to talk to my husband for me to help our marriage It s unbelievable and so frustrating because there is so little that can be done once a therapist gaslights your spouse BE CAREFUL

They are concerned about money and that s it Don t bother with the generic replies when you know you do not provide any resolutions Yall just want to get paid As others said therapists can cancel anytime they want but clients need 48 hrs notice As if we don t have a life as well as they do Worst counseling experience ever Wish I d read these reviews first Wasted money I didn t have on them
