Paid 1 75 to cover a cost of 19 50 Kew Cycle day ticket for my wife and she did not attend due to a potential thunder storm happening on 1st August 2024 as MET office has issued a yellow weather warning however they replied saying yellow weather warning is merely a warning to take precautions and rejected her refund claim saying they can only refund unless it is a red warning quote Whilst we appreciate the information supplied unfortunately the document does not confirm that the terms of the facility have been met as this shows a yellow warning which would not be considered a warning not to travel only a warning to take precautions UnquoteGiven it is a cycling day cycling on metal frame on any thunderstorm day can be dangerous Update Team at Ticketplan contacted me after explaining what happened they have resolved my claim and refunded me the ticket price
