Buyer beware Bought two tickets to see my nephew s band play in Newport KY Show was cancelled due to a dispute between promoter and venue Tried to get a refund and got no help from Ticket Web who pointed fingers at promoter who vanished I ll never buy tickets from this scam again

Purchased tickets for Jim Breuer show 4 8 20 - show was postponed until October and ultimately canceled for obvious reasons Reached out to TicketWeb and the response was they were mailing out As of 12 13 20 nothing The TicketWeb support page does not work either No way to contact them Out 200 bucks

Ticketweb website lists a phone number

Ticketweb website lists a phone number on their website however nobody answers Other than a message saying to email for a response to your inquiry I waited 5 days after my email and unfortunately was not reimbursed for my loss even after ticketweb website says you can contact for a response Ticketweb should be avoided if possible

They will not do a refund

I bought tickets to attend a show at the Pittsburgh improv The show was originally scheduled for January Because of Covid it was pushed to July I received an email from ticket web explaining how to go about getting a refund I followed their instructions and I am now being told they cannot do a refund They rip people off I will be contacting my credit union in the morning to dispute the charges and present all my evidence

I wish i could give less than a 1 star I ordered tickets for a comedy show and it said error with my card information eventually I gave up and looked down at my phone CHARGING MY CARD 4 SEPARATE TIMES I emailed tech support and they were absolutely no help

Lying and Scamming

Had tickets for a show and then COVID happened Wasn t able to attend the reschedule in April 2021 Was explicitly told to tear tickets reply with confirmation code in the subject by XXX date Replied a week earlier and have been trying to get a refund since despite this whole documented back and forth they continue to say I can t get a refund At this point I m simply following up monthly to remind them they are lying to customers

This is totally unacceptable the way this website takes advantage of people A 30 ticket ends up costing you 125 00 and the sad part is it is General admission I would not recommend this website for purchasing anything You can simply go to the Improv or the actual place of business website Yes I got hackled but never again and just want others to avoid getting taken advantage of also Lesson Learn please

Scam artists

Cancelled a show and sent e-mail saying to request a refund Then denied refund saying it was not requested in time even though timestamped e-mail clearly shows within their window of request Had to dispute charge with financial institution to get my money back Go literally anywhere else to get your tickets these guys are scam artists
